A magnificent cathederal tour with George our excellent guide. - We were greeted by George for his tour which would start bang on time. We were 20 minutes early and he suggested that we could shelter from the sun, take a coffee or enter the Archivo de Indias building for a quick view. We took the quick view of the Indias building :-The stairs, landing and first room. A treasure chest with a robust locking system. Quite unique. Taking a guided tour grants immediate queue avoiding access to the Cathedral. Taking the earlier tours will avoid the crowds. The building and its history is brought to life by your guide. Our guide obviously loves his work, the building, its art, its history and Seville. He wants you to enjoy and appreciate how this building was shared harmoniously, by all faiths, for hundreds of years. Our tour lasted slightly over one hour and was superb. Very friendly, sympathetic and entertaining. George has the desire to remind us of a harmony which existed in Seville and its past. Take the journey with him. He is one of the best. Your guide will collect you at the foot of the Giralda Tower and the tour will end there.

So Glad we took this tour! - We took the one hour guided cathedral tour in English. Jorge was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and experienced guide. The ear piece provided enabled us to hear every word and skipping the long line up to enter was a bonus. The cathedral is awesome and unbelievably huge. It would have been overwhelming on our own. Jorge used the time effectively and we saw all the highlights and learned the back story and historical facts surrounding each area (items) we viewed. This tour is highly recommended. At the end of the tour there is lots of time to wander back and enjoy the cathedral or go up the tower. The 35 ramps up to the top of the bell tower were easy to navigate and the view is worth taking in.

Excellent! - We never have guided tours - always preferring to explore places at our own pace; & to spend more time on the things we are interested in - but we were in the public admission queue when one of the All Seville 'touts' asked if we would be interested in the guided tour. As it was hot & the queue was long; and going on a guided tour meant that we could go in straightaway we went for it & were very glad that we did. The guide; Jorge; was knowledgeable; interesting; informative and humorous & we would not hesitate to recommend him. We learnt a lot about the Cathedral. He bought the history to life with interesting anecdotes and unknown facts. Thank you Jorge

George 3rd, great guide, thanks - Did not pre-book ticket, met George at about 10.30 at main entrance by chance, for English speaking tourist visit, turned out very well. Took us 90 minutes to see and hear about the building of the cathedral, the dome, the tower, the history, the jewels, Columbus, all 5 nation/religions, invaders who built this gorgeous cathedral. Not to be missed. Discounted concessions, 15 Euros got us in and we received an 8 Euro entry to other sites, great value, highly recommend.
