Beautiful - My twin brother and I were exploring around this part of the city when we chanced upon this great looking building and what an eye catching palace building this is . A wonderful looking building that's obviously very old, this palace building stands in pretty grounds and is very photogenic, its most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Calle Duenas.

Night time tour - Built in the late 15th century by the Pineda family who in 1496 had to sell the house to raise random money. The palace has remained in the same lineage since the sale with the upper level still occupied today. I had the please of doing a guided night tour at 21h for €16 with Alejando. (Note all night tours are in Spanish) He was extremely informative about the history/stables/architecture/gypsy ballroom etc A focal point in the palace is the phenomenal tapestry from 1570 depicting the scene Mercury falls in love with Herse woven in wool/silk/silver/gold. The family enjoy painting, literature, dancing & collecting posters of bullfighting ferias for Semana Santa dating back to  the 1890s. I had visualised a night time tour would be dark & the grounds all lit up etc, however this is not the case nevertheless it was a good value 80 minute tour.

Spectacular - Located in the picturesque Santa Cruz district, Las Dueñas Palace is one of Seville's most fascinating treasures. This historic noble residence, built in the 15th century, has been the home of the Duke of Alba family for centuries and has only recently opened its doors to the public, offering a unique window into the Spanish nobility and cultural history of the city. The palace impresses with its extraordinary architecture that blends Gothic, Renaissance and Mudejar elements. Walking through its spacious courtyards, lush gardens and adorned halls, you can admire a vast collection of works of art, including paintings, sculptures, upholstery and antique furniture, telling stories of opulence and tradition. The main courtyard, with its classic Andalusian design, is surrounded by colonnades and arches that beautifully frame the central garden. The gardens are particularly impressive, with a variety of plants, colourful flowers and fountains creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Each room of the palace has its own unique history, often linked to important historical and cultural figures, such as the poet Antonio Machado, who was born here in 1875. Still inhabited by the Duke of Alba. the Palacio de las Dueñas is open daily from 10am to 8pm (April to September) and from 10am to 6pm (October to March). The price of the ticket including audio guide is 12 euros. We understood it with the Seville pass purchased online

Beautiful and peaceful - Being totally honest we enjoyed our visit here much more than the Alcazar. Its quieter, much more relaxed and although smaller its much more impressive because of that. Take your time and enjoy the beauty of this place

Cute. - The house itself is very pretty, especially the garden and inner patio; however, I did not find the audio guide very interesting. Recommendation to those attracted by the typical architecture of the aristocratic Andalusian houses.
