- Museo del Baile Flamenco - Are you ready to find out the origin of flamenco dancing? The Flamenco Dance Museum is located in the oldtown of Seville, five minutes on foot from the Cathedral and the Giralda, one of the most historic places in Seville, and it is hosted in an eighteenth century building completely renovated and equipped. This interactive museum was founded by Cristina Hoyos, one of the most famous dancers and choreographers in history. Immerse yourself in the magical world of flamenco through its styles: AlegrÃa, Soleá, SeguirÃa, the Taranto, the Tangos, the Guajira… Dresses from different epochs, interactive screens, exhibition of works of art … the Flamenco Dance Museum offers a unique opportunity to know the most important cultural living entity in Andalusia.
Visits to the museum can be made at any time of the day stipulated in your ticket, always from 11:00 to 18:00 (last entry at 18:00), except the first Monday of each month when the museum will open at 4:00 p.m.

It’s situated a mere five minutes from the Cathedral, one of Seville’s most iconic sites, within an 18th-century edifice that beautifully blends classical architecture with modern design elements.
The museum serves as a gateway to the enchanting realm of flamenco. Across its four levels, visitors can experience the fervor of flamenco performers, delve into the ancient roots of this art form via the interactive exhibit, and observe how modern artists interpret the flamenco spirit… You can also trace the journey of flamenco from its inception to being recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The museum can be visited anytime between 11:00 to 18:00 as indicated on your ticket (with last entry at 18:00), except on the first Monday of each month, when it opens at 4:00 p.m.
