A hidden gem - This palace is less well-known and some distance away from the main attractions of the city. However we found it to be very much worth the visit. The queue was short and the tickets cover the whole palace and gardens. It’s much more compact than the Alcazar but features a similar architectural style. As there’s fewer visitors, it’s a very relaxed visit and there’s no crowds so one can take it all in at a leisurely pace. There’s a beautiful selection of tapestries, paintings and well-appointed rooms. We found the wood panelled office/library room to be one of the nicest in the palace. The gardens are of course beautiful and extensive. Notably, parts of the palace are off limits as it is still a residence of Spanish nobility.

Hidden gem - A lesser known, but all the more beautiful location. This became my favourite place in Sevilla. Few people and a useful audioguide. Must see.

A moment suspended out of time - Magnificent palace that reflects extremely well the life of the nobles in Seville. The Duchess of Alba has left her mark in this magnificent Sevillian mansion with lush gardens. Sit on a bench and take the trouble to listen to the birds nestled in the trees and watch the parakeets. The poster show is worth a visit to understand the essentials of life in Seville. => A moment suspended out of time!

Top of the list in Seville. - The absolute highlight of our 4 day stay in Seville. Breathtaking palace full of family possessions and memorabilia from their interesting lives. Spectacular rooms, gardens and courtyards meant you just wanted to sit and absorb the atmosphere, listening to the excellently put together audio guide. A complete contrast to the ridiculously over-rated Alcazar. And to cap it all a shop full of carefully sourced quality products.

Worth a stroll out of the city centre - Great stories contained in this tranquil place outside the city. The gardens are lovely and the house and its history make for an interesting and relaxing visit.

Gorgeous, well worth the effort - Pretty stunning. Discount for being elderly! You need to prove age via photo id or disability via blue badge etc. Beautiful horse trough as you walk to the stables. Oh, toilet facilities in rear of shop. The gardens are beautifully kept, the audio guide was excellent. Lots of seats in the gardens so you could just admire at leisure. Formal gardens, fountains, shady areas, truly lovely. The house is very pretty too. No access to the upstairs as Alba family still live here. Lots of furnishings, personal items, photos of the famous, bullfighting mementos, art, tiling, moorish style. You can ascend the staircase which has lovely tiling and a pretty stunning coffered ceiling. One of our best visits. Oh, very close to the Palacio is the Convent of Santa Ines. It sells convent cookies from (I think) 10am - 1pm. Torno system.

A little left - If I do not go, visit of the gardens and the ground floor of the house of the Duchess of Alba, many photos, the gardens a little left in the hand of God and little more, it is not curious to see some of the rooms where the Duchess was and some of her belongings but for me the visit is dispensable, I leave it to the taste of each one, I will not return.

The most interesting thing about the garden, knowing that Antonio Machado also looked at it - Very disappointing, the feeling that in most of the rooms, what they have done has been half place the storage room and expose the old junk of the house of Alba, nothing to do with the house Pilate of the house of Medinaceli

Lousy. - The visit is disappointing. Everything is decadent, not ancient. The furniture seems to have been taken from some rake, there are few works of art of note to say nothing. I do not recommend this visit to anyone
