Excellent walking tour - Julio, our guide, is very personable and knowledgeable. His 9 years of experience was evident in his presentation. He maintained our interest and attention with many entertaining stories throughout the tour. We’ve had numerous guides on many of our trips and he was definitely one of the best. We highly recommend this tour, a highlight of our trip to Sevilla.

History and stories come to life! - Julio our guide was friendly, considerate and knowledgeable. He definitely knew his history and facts, but we expected that— in addition he related stories on a very human level that both entertained us and let us empathize with those historical characters. We learned a lot about the cultural significance of the area. We booked this tour in advance, but late enough to select only a 5 pm tour on the day we wanted to go; that turned out to work in our favor: with the cancellation of the other couple who had also selected this tour, my husband and I had a “private” tour. We were happy to have booked this tour! At the conclusion, Julio pointed out other interesting options for continuing on in the area.

Jewish quarter Seville tour - Barbara was engaging and extremely knowledgeable. She is an archaeologist by training and really gave us an education. I saw things I never would have found on my own. Highly recommend.

A sound tour but you could easily do the route independently - All the arrangements went smoothly and the guide was professional and informative. Interesting to hear the various stories about the Jewish Quarter although they would've been even better had they more closely aligned with features that we were seeing. My conclusion is that you might be better off doing the walk with a good guide book especially if, like us, you're a bit toured out having gone round the Alcázar and cathedral with a guide.

A tour a Spanish Jewry should be thorough in the history of Jews. - Your guide was very nice though she tried to reach me through Smart App she did not seek out me or my party though we looked for her. But please educate your guides about Jewish heritage in Spain, including the Golden Age of Spanish Jewry and the significant role Jews played. Please also be clear about the Inquisition, which burned Jews at the stake because they were Jewish, in the auto de fe. A happy and productive people had to leave or be tortured and killed due to the Church. This has left a profoundly negative view of the Spanish Church for Jews that continues to this day and should be acknowledged. All in all, there was very little history of the Jews on the tour and little knowledge.
