Seville Cathedral Tour - Hector…you did good! Enjoyed the added pictures on your phone. To patrons of Head Out, use a different app for the Cathedral tour. Picture of meeting point was not accurate we did not receive any information via What’sApp or text telling us to look for Hecor with the blue Amigos Tours flag.

Alcazar, Cathedral, and Heralda (in that order…) - We had a tour with Hector, who was a fab tour guide, very patient with everyone’s questions, and considerate that all were included in his knowledge-sharing. His English was exceptional and he spoke very clearly, using a nifty intercom-type thing which worked effectively throughout our tour. There’s so much to learn and appreciate about the Alcazar, its royal connections, and its history, and Hector brought all its fascinating stories to life. The tour lasted just about an hour, and then we had a break of 15 mins before we started on the Cathedral tour, again with Hector. I’d have preferred it the other way round, on reflection; we’d have preferred some more ‘leisure time’ in the Alcazar after the formal part was over, but having finished in the cathedral, we couldn’t return. The climb up the Heralda is rewarded with a great aerial view of Sevilla, and wasn’t a huge exertion. For anyone less fit than us (!) there are several roomy alcove windows - some even have a place to sit too - you can take a quick pit stop and revive your weary legs. Overall, highly recommended; Hector’s mum - also a tour guide in Sevilla - has clearly taught him well, and you’ll enjoy the couple of hours spent learning from him.

Definitely Worth Doing! - A very worthwhile tour. Lots of information but not too much so to be overwhelmed . We would have missed so much had we just visited and looked at items not knowing what they are. Hector was very interesting, he spoke perfect English and had humour in the tour ,which was appreciated. The arrangements for meeting were straight forward and hassle free. The only thing which could be improved would be the ‘pre- visit’ information. It stated wear suitable clothing. A few of us, myself included needed to buy a scarf to cover our shoulders. This delayed us starting and had to queue at the admission kiosk. A simple instruction saying you must have your shoulders covered ie, no vests or strappy dresses etc would have prevented the delay. At the end of the tour you can continue to look around and go up the bell tower. This was amazing and worth the climb up. Highly recommend this tour and 10/10 to Hector for the tour information!
