• Catedral de Sevilla - is the largest Christian Gothic cathedral in the world by area. In 1987, UNESCO declared it, along with the Real Alcázar and Archivo de Indias, a World Heritage Site. On July 25, 2010, it was recognized for its Exceptional Universal Value. Tradition holds that construction began in 1401, although there is no documentary evidence of work starting until 1433. The cathedral was built on the site of the old Aljama Mosque of Seville, retaining the minaret (the Giralda) and the Patio de los Naranjos.
• Real Alcazar de Sevilla - is one of the oldest palaces still in use worldwide. This palace has evolved through different stages from the late eleventh century to the present day, witnessing the influence of various cultures that have passed through Seville. It stands as a faithful witness to the city’s history, marked by a diversity of cultures and the legacies they have left. Walking through its expansive orange and myrtle-lined pathways transports visitors to another era, one that has undoubtedly shaped Seville’s history.
• Barrio Santa Cruz - is the most popular and bustling neighborhood in Seville. It is known for its narrow streets, stately homes, sparkling fountains, and the charm and legends that surround it.
• Setas de Sevilla (Metropol Parasol) - Known as the “mushrooms” of Seville, this massive structure modernizes the central square of La Encarnación.
• Iglesia Colegial del Salvador - Located in one of Seville’s busiest squares, this is the city’s second-largest church, the beautiful El Salvador.
• Torre del Oro - A 36-meter tower situated on the left bank of the Guadalquivir River. We will inform you about its function and the curious origin of its name.
• Calle Sierpes - A typical shopping street where you can find some of the oldest shops in the area.
