Join Carlos, a historian and officially licensed tour guide, for a stroll through the magnificent Royal Alcazar of Seville! This is the oldest Royal Palace in Europe still in use and the most iconic monument in the city. Uncover the palace’s hidden treasures, royal intrigues, and be enchanted by its captivating beauty that perfectly blends the diverse cultures that have inhabited this land. The tour lasts about 1.5 hours inside the palace, and once it concludes, you are free to stay on the premises for as long as you like. How does it work? It’s simple. After booking, meet us 15 minutes before the tour starts on the scheduled date. The meeting point is Plaza del Triunfo, in front of the Tourist Information Office. The tour begins at 12:30 PM.

This is a small group tour, as we believe this allows the guide to offer a more personalized and detailed experience.

Excellent tour with a funny, knowledgeable guide - My husband and I went on several tours in Seville during our trip there in August and our tour of Royal Alcazar with Seville Tours was the only one I would recommend. Carlos spoke English fluently (something we didn't find was the case with the other tours we took in the city) and shared a lot of fascinating information about the history and architectural details of the palace. He also was funny and personable and made the tour very enjoyable from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful and insightful tour of the Alcazar with an English-fluent, knowledgeable guide - We highly recommend this tour. You will not just learn about the Alcazar building, although Carlos is thoroughly knowledgeable about the building and its history. Carlos is a true historian, who can speak competently to a wide range of issues and answer all kinds of questions. He will engage with you like your favorite teacher in school might have done, and he has a wonderful way of finding universal themes in history that tie modern times to centuries ago. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, and came away from it with fascinating insights to think and talk about regarding the Alcazar, Sevilla, Spain, and much more. Thank you very much, Carlos, for such a wonderful experience.

Great tour - Definitely glad we had a guide. Good communication from the guide, Carlos, who needed to change our slot but was well in advance. Only ended up being us so was very personable and thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent knowledge of everything that linked in with the regions history with the attraction. Very personable and offered to take photos in the places he knew were best. Beautiful attraction and highly recommended.

Very Knowledgeable Guide in Seville - I did a private tour with Carlos through the Alcazar, the Cathedral and surrounding areas. He is a very knowledgeable guide and is able to give insight to many aspects of the amazing history of Seville. Being a history buff myself I appreciated his insight into the richness, partcituarly of my interest area: the Moorish period. He also is a very personable guide and caring of his client's needs. I would definitely recommend him.

One of the best tours we've had - Carlos was great. We learnt ALOT, not only about the Alcazar itself, but many things relevant to its history. We walked away really happy that we booked this tour and one of the best ones we have done.

Great tour full of funny jokes and enthousiasm! - We booked the tour while waiting in line for Alcazar. We were very happy with Carlos. He is an extremely enthousiastic and funny tour guide, who knew a lot of interesting facts about the Alcazar. He was open for all kinds of questions and knew to answer them right away. It definitely made our trip a memorable experience!
