Walking while discovering hidden gems - I will start by saying that this was the money best invested in a walking tour I have made. Miguel guided us (a small party of three) through the narrow streets, the history, the monuments and the hidden gems. He was able to answer all our questions and guided us in the right direction to explore further. I would recommend this tour, no doubt! ¡Muchas gracias, Miguel!

Bring your imagination to this Juderia tour - Barbara was our guide. She was great. Excellent English. The group was 6 of us and she did a great job showing us the Juderia. Unfortunately, there is not much to see and for me, that was quite sad. Toledo has much more to see from a Jewish point of view. Anyway, barbara did her best and she brought the long history of the Juderia and it’s inhabitants to us.

Glimpsing the past - Marta was welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate about Seville, which drew us into the tour. I enjoyed learning about the historic Jewish community, and seeing the few remaining artifacts from them. Marta also provided enough context for us to see how things unfolded. Today there are virtually no Jews in Seville, a reflection of centuries of persecution, but Marta deftly explained the roles Jews played in the 13th and 14th centuries and how their presence remains woven through the fabric of the city to this day.

Great, but left wanting for a little more - My fiancé and I loved strolling Santa Cruz with Barbara, who was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. We got our steps in and learned a great deal. Our only regret was that the content of the tour was mostly focused on tragedies and not a discussion of the vibrant Jewish culture in the city during the heyday of Jewish life Sevilla. This is not a knock on the guide or even the history, these records seem not to exist, but I think added focus on what daily life was like, coexisting with Christians and Muslims in a complex time, would be helpful.

Jewish quarter tour - Valentin was a happy tour guide. He knew his history extremely well. His English was a bit difficult to understand. I expected more Jewish history but he was excellent in what he told us.
