The Spring Wildlife Cruise navigates through Resurrection Bay to the Gulf of Alaska’s edge, seeking the return of our seasonal visitors. Look out for gray whales, Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, and other whales like humpbacks and orcas. Occasionally, spot mountain goats with their newborns and black bears exploring the coastline of Resurrection Bay. The tour is fully narrated by our knowledgeable captains and naturalist crew members.

Embark on a 4-hour expedition into the safeguarded Resurrection Bay waters to observe the annual migration of gray whales through Alaskan regions. Each year, these mammals traverse over 5,000 miles from Baja to the Bering and Chukchi Seas in their quest for nourishment. They usually commence their migration in late February and journey through Alaskan territories come springtime. Keep an eye out not only for gray whales, but also humpback whales, orca, Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, and a variety of marine birds.
