Highly recommend! - Despite some rough seas, this was an amazing experience. We got to see some killer whales, a bit of humpback whale, Dall's porpoises that swam with the boat and of course the awesome glacier. The crew were very helpful and the captain was the best!

Great experience - Great excursion! Would do again. Definitely layer up! It gets cold. Hand warmers, foot warmers, and rain coats! We saw a lot of wildlife and were lucky to see a whale, but don’t count on it. The guides were great!

Excellent Service and a great lunch. - It was a rainy day, which I have discovered is nearly every day in this part of Alaska. Despite this, we saw sea lions, harbor seals, calving off the Aialik Glacier, and porpoises. Lunch was provided, which was a surprisingly very tasty chicken/corn/bean burrito. Towards the end of the cruise, we were served warm fresh-baked chocolate chips (which we got to smell for a while before being served! What impressed me the most was overhearing one of the staff, right before lunch, tell a patron who was about to order a soft drink, that one would be served with his lunch, in case he wanted to wait and save the money. It was a great way to spend the rainy day!

Gorgeous views, great captain. Manage your wildlife expectations. - Gorgeous views, captain was fantastic, crew is great, ship is clean and modern. 6 hours felt long. Good snack bar on the boat as well. I would ensure you call in advance and inquire about what kind of wildfile you can expect to see during the time of year for your visit. With whales all over the website, it never occurred to me to ask if August is a good time to see orcas - which, apparently, it's not - when we checked that morning, the agent said, yeah the orcas are pretty much all gone by August. So manage your expectations for wildlife - nothing is ever certain but for us going out in mid-August, seeing an orca would sadly be a lucky fluke. It is helpful that the company has several ships out at once and the captains keep in touch, so if one ship sees something they alert the other captains - more eyes on the water.
