- Holgate Glacier - Explore one of two breathtaking tidewater glaciers, Aialik or Holgate. Like Aialik, Holgate Glacier is encircled by steep cliffs, lush forests, and towering mountain peaks. Witness the awe-inspiring calving events as ice chunks break and crash into the ocean. Although rare, black bears have been observed on the beaches in Holgate Arm.
