Top notch all of the way - The weather gets a 5 as it was a perfect day, calm seas and sunshine. Boading was friendly and efficient. We headed out in search of Orcas, spotting sea otter, bald eagles and numerous sea birds along the way. Sadly, Orcas took an unplanned vacation day and we did not see any. Lucky for us, Humpback whales filled in for the Orcas doing a wonderful demonstration of cooperative feeding. They surfaced regularly, giving us all a great view. We went on to see harbor seals, sea lions, puffins and again, many sea birds. Now, the crew could have been discouraged with our no show orcas, but they were not. When not keeping the ship clean or serving drinks, they melded into the groups giving info and personal attention to everyone. The captain had plenty of places to stop ( seriously it is Resurection Bay) and she gave us plenty to see adding a bit of history and geology to our experience. The entire crew gets a 10 as they all went above and beyond to make our day special. Major Marine is top notch, with a great crew and frankly, the cleanest day cruise this regular traveler has ever been on.

Found the Orcas! - Boat was clean. We all got assigned tables which made for a stress free boarding experience. They offered complimentary binoculars. Great day. Little rough seas. Saw eagles and goats. And they did find an Orca Pod of Mom, baby and a male. And put a mile down in the water so you could hear them. Really enjoyed this experience. Would recommend it and would do again.

Tons of Wildlife! Dress warm!! - Dress warm!! We thought we had a plenty of layers and we were freezing on deck. If you’re prone to seasickness plan ahead. While we mostly stayed in the bay we did head out a little to follow humpback whales. We didn’t see any orcas but LOTS of other wild life! Porpoises, humpback whales, sea lions, harbor seals, sea otters, mountain goats, puffins and bald eagles! Our captain was super knowledgeable and narrated the tour just the right amount. Crew was super friendly and helpful.

Little of Everything in a Half Day. - Great Half Day Tour; Saw Doll Sheep, with Babies; Puffin; Seals; Sea Lions; Otter; Orca's two different Pods, Couple Humpback Whales; Went into the area of Spiers in Kenai Fjord. All in all, was a great time, and it helps having wonderful people you do not know, that will talk to you.

Seward cruise - The crew were very friendly. Bit delayed as joining passengers from the rail came a bit late as train was delayed. The wildlife we saw that included seals puffin and bald eagle were great. We even saw a small humpback whale from a distance. Bit disappointed that we did not see any Orcas

Unlucky - Weather was very wet but it didn't stop us enjoying the tour. The only disappointment was the lack of Orca sightings, though we did see humpbacks.
