Highlights
  • 1412 4th Ave - Join us for our first cruise of the season as we search for gray whales on their incredible annual migration. Every year, gray whales migrate over 10,000 miles round-trip between Baja and the Bering and Chukchi Seas – the longest migration route of any mammal. These whales begin migrating north in late February and arrive in Alaska in the spring, spending the summer feeding in shallow Arctic waters before migrating south in mid-October. They deliver their calves in the warm, protected lagoons off the coast of Baja in the winter.

Our Spring Wildlife Cruise takes you through Resurrection Bay to the edge of the Gulf of Alaska in search of our returning visitors. In addition to gray whales, watch for Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, and other whales including humpbacks and orcas. Occasionally, you will see mountain goats with their newly born kids and black bears foraging along the coastline of Resurrection Bay. Our tour is fully narrated by our experienced captains and naturalist crew members.

Genuinely good people and a great time - This tour company is wonderful. The cruise itself was great. The staff were friendly and engaging. I get seasick so I took different motion sickness prevention measures (sea bands, bonine, and some oil tincture on my wrist - the scent lessens nausea). The crew checked in on me several times on the ride to make sure I was okay. They helped me enjoy the cruise even with my motion sensitivity. We saw a mountain goat, bald eagles, pigeon guillemot, cormorant, sea lions, sea otters, and dall’s porpoises. The company went above and beyond after we got home. My son was sad that we didn’t bring home the brochure with the animal pictures on it so I called and asked if they could mail one to us and they did! They even sent it priority so it got here fast. I highly recommend them. Seriously good people.

Spring Wildlife Cruise - Great time! - Great experience and would highly recommend. Captain and crew were very knowledgable and friendly. As with any wildlife tour, what you see varies day to day, but we got very lucky on ours. On our tour, we got to get really close to some humpback whales and porpoises, and also saw otters, harbor seals, many sea lions, bald eagles, and mountain goats. A great time, especially for the relatively low price.
