- Anse Major Trail - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or the ferry and transported by car to the starting point or entrance of the Anse Major Trail. The hike will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. This is a narrow, safe trail with some gentle inclines and declines. Participants do not need to be exceptionally fit, but should wear appropriate footwear such as sports shoes or hiking boots. Sandals or flip-flops are not recommended. There will be several stops along the way to allow ample time for taking stunning photographs at various scenic spots. Upon arrival, guests can explore the small bay, swim, and snorkel. Additionally, there is a freshwater pool fed by the granite mountains of the nature reserve, which is several million years old, very clean, and refreshing. The plan is to stay for about 1 to 2 hours before either hiking back or taking a cab boat, if available, for a small additional fee. After the hike, guests will be transported back to the pick-up point or another location on Mahe.
