Unforgettable Journey Navigating the Dedicate Art of Pau Making! - I had an incredible time at the Pau Making Workshop with Nury Dian Xin. The workshop was not just about making cute looking paus and learning to pleat, but also to learn about the food industry in Singapore as well as giving back to the community. It was a heartwarming experience to be part of the food wastage recycling program and to distribute food to those in need. Well worth the morning spent. Kudos to the Nury team for their dedication and hospitality.

A great morning learning about baos - I really enjoyed wrapping and designing my baos! Did not realise the skills needed to make baos with such fluffy dough and I can't imagine how this factory used to make everything by hand. Kudos for being part of the food wastage recycling program where they distribute food to those in need. We also had a mini tasting session whilst waiting for ours to be cooked. The green tea bao and siew mai were my favourite!! Highly recommended. Definitely have a greater appreciation for baos now.

Great fun at the North Part of Singapore - Went to the workshop with some friends and had a great 2 hour of fun making paus and eating the various dim sum. Vibes was pretty good, although location was a little hard to find. Looking forward to future advance classes and thank you to instructor Thu and Shi Min.

2 hour pau workshop and introduction to food manufacturing - The Pau Making Workshop was a perfect way to spend a Saturday at the Northern part of Singapore. Finding the factory on Google map was a challenge although once found, there are ample parking near the lift lobby at the first floor. Meeting point was at the lift lobby of level 7 and it was a short walk to the factory. Factory tour was a short one describing some of the equipment use, process flow of pau production. We were then ushered into the office area where we had an introduction on the company and dim sum. It’s pretty amazing to know that the company produces nearly 4000-5000 paus and dim sum everyday and is one of the largest halal distributor in Singapore. For the pau workshop we learnt pleating using Red bean paste as a filling. The in structure made pleating look real easy but the whole class struggled on our first few attempts. For the other portion of the workshop, we were given tools and coloured dough to create bespoke paus. Pau dough is not as malleable as those used for cookies or biscuits. Last part was the food tasting and we got to taste their siew mai, a green tea pau and some glutinous rice. Siew mai was delicious and all these were halal. Instructor also provided some take away boxes for us to bring home our creations and the rest were said to be donated to a local food community to reduce food wastage. Bought some paus back at the end of the activity! Really great workshop to spend the weekend learning about local staple food and how the food industry works in Singapore.

I Pau you will like it! - I recently attended the Pau Making Workshop with friends, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Making our paus was a delightful experience, and the tasting session was the icing on the cake. It's wonderful to see a company that cares about the community and providing value to the participants. Thank you, Nury Dian Xin, for inviting us to this workshop.

The making of cute little Paus~~~ - I can't say enough about the Pau Making Workshop at Nury Dian Xin. The workshop was informative, engaging, and a lot of fun. Learning how to make paus was a unique experience, and the factory tour added an extra layer of insight into the culinary world. It's really great that they are also distributing their less beautiful food to the community (including the hand made paus we did today). My friend's children enjoyed it again and are hoping to attend the next level advanced pau workshop when available. Also taobao-ed a month worth of dim sum home!
