Very fun night out, incredible drink pairings and history of food! Very diverse and educational! - Li was an absolutely incredible host! I was visiting Shanghai for my second time for work and wanted to do something fun on a night off and it did not disappoint. Our group was delightful, and we ended up having a blast together! I really enjoy tours because is combines people from all over the world and we get to experience new flavors together.
Li’s selections for drinks and neighborhood spots was really unique and not cheesy or touristy. I was so happy with this night out

Fantastic Food Exploration - Hope took me on a great tour of China's cuisines, sampling food, drinks and restaurants from all corners of the country - complete with maps and stories and a personal touch. I was the only guest on our tour, so it was really a private excursion with way too much food. Some spicy, some unique, some familiar, some I would have otherwise never thought to try; some nice restaurants, some very local places, some street food. Really fun tour.

A recommended experience - Li is very personable and a fantastic storyteller. He has a lot of knowledge of the food and drinks we tried and told us the origins of many of the dishes and drinks. Definitely come hungry and ready to eat before this tour there is plenty of food to eat. I recommend this tour for anyone who wants to try and learn the various dishes around China like Hongkong and Sichuan

Fantastic tour of regional Chinese dishes and drinks - This was such a fun food tour and a great introduction to various regional cuisines. Li selected dishes from different regions in China and explained how they were cooked, the origins of the dish and other interesting bits of background. He was very good at encouraging me to try all sorts of food and drinks. I loved most of it. Though there are a few Chinese delicacies I will happily never try again. Li and his trainee Holly were great company and I can recommend this tour.

Amazing X 4! Amazing tour, amazing experience, amazing food, and an amazing guide - This was an amazing tour, amazing experience, amazing food, and an amazing guide, Li. Li meet us at our hotel, coordinate a car to take us to where the tour started, and shared with us some amazing food while helping us to understand food, culture, and food culture in Shanghai. This tour was on the day we arrived in Shanghai, which was the perfect way to understand a city through its food. I wish we had more time for more experiences with this company.

Fun, informative, delicious. - We had a very enjoyable evening tasting many enjoyable dishes from various regions of China. Our guide Paul was great fun, very entertainung and informative. Highly recommend the tour as an intro to what to eat in China, and how to eat it- and get an insight into China life.

Good tour, but couldn’t visit the restaurants on our own - The tour was really good, however one of the recommended restaurants, the Hong Kong cafe, didn’t accept foreign cards when we went back. :(
