Located on the bank of the Huangpu River, visitors come to the Bund not only for the charming riverside scenery but also for the unique western and gothic architecture. Shanghai - The guide will meet you in the hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. You will be taken to the well-known Zhujiajiao water town, approximately a 60-minute drive away.
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - The Zhujiajiao water town is famous nationwide, with a history of over 1,700 years. Covering an area of 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), this fan-shaped town, often referred to as Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a bright pearl amidst lakes and mountains. Three places in the water town are worth visiting: Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge. Your tour guide will accompany you to these sites.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, the Jade Buddha Temple is a renowned Buddhist shrine and an active Zen monastery. The temple plays a significant role in spreading Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures, library services, Buddhist academic publications, and regular Buddhist cultural activities.

Huangshan. Overnight on Mount Huangshan.
Mt. Huangshan - In the morning, you will travel to the base of Huangshan Mountain and take a cable car to ascend its front mountain. You can admire the magnificent scenery from the cable car.
Mt. Huangshan (Yellow Mountain), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is China’s most beautiful and charming mountain. It is famous for its “Four Wonders” – uniquely-shaped pine trees, fantastic rock peaks, a sea of clouds, and hot springs. Each view is distinct and unique. Different seasons, weather, locations, and angles reveal different sceneries, akin to watching ancient Chinese scroll paintings come to life! Spending a night at the top is a wise choice for witnessing spectacular sunsets and sunrises.
Shixin Peak - Upon arrival, you will first enjoy the scenery of Beginning-to-Believe Peak, known for its grotesque rocks and pines. As its name suggests, you will truly begin to believe in the mountain’s captivating scenery. The shaped rocks hanging on steep cliffs and deep valleys create a charming natural painting.
After that, proceed to the Peach Blossom Peak, which boasts numerous peach trees. When the peach trees bloom every March or April, the peak becomes an ocean of peach flowers, creating a wonderland under heaven.
Your next stop is the Lion Peak, located west of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak. The rock at the peak resembles a powerful lion crouching on the mountain, hence the name.
Then, continue the trip to the Flying Stone. It is a 39-feet-high, 8-meter-long, and approximately 360-ton piece of rock balanced on a tiny flat ledge. The space between the two large pieces of rock is very small, and the erecting rock appears to have flown over from heaven, hence its name Flying Stone. It is a typical example of Huangshan Mountain’s incomparable natural beauty.
Guangmingding - The last site you will explore today is the Bright Summit, one of the mountain’s highest peaks. Standing on it, you can appreciate the wonderful scenery of the East Sea Scenic Area, the mountain peaks in the West Sea Scenic Area, and the surrounding peculiar rocks.
Tonight, you will stay overnight at the hotel on the mountain (on your own booking).
Mount Huangshan. The tour ends.
Xihai Great Canyon - The morning sightseeing will cover the Cloud Dispersing Pavilion and Xihai Grand Canyon. The Cloud Dispersing Pavilion is a sightseeing pavilion and one of the best sites to appreciate the mountain’s charming scenery. Standing in the pavilion, you can look up to the innumerable towering peaks of the West Sea and have a bird’s-eye view of the deep and wide Xihai Grand Canyon. Xihai Grand Canyon, the most beautiful and deep scenic area of Huangshan Mountain, is a 9-mile-long U-shaped canyon. Besides the sea of clouds, it is also noted for abundant grotesque peaks and varied stones. After lunch, you will return to the foot of the mountain by cable car.
Huangshan Railway Station - Your delightful Huangshan tour from Shanghai will conclude as we transfer you to the airport or railway station and see you off.
