  Typically, the tour starts with a visit to the renowned Yuyuan Garden. Enjoy a leisurely morning wandering through this historic garden, which features a variety of pavilions, galleries, ponds, rock formations, pathways, and lush vegetation. Take in the scenic beauty and listen to the stories of its past from your guide. (Please be aware that Yuyuan Garden is closed on Mondays, so if your tour is scheduled for a Monday, you’ll need to select a different destination).
• Former French Concession - Proceed to the French Concession, once the hub of European colonial presence. Admire the striking French-style buildings, delve into the history of Shanghai around the 1840s, and enjoy a leisurely walk under the canopy of elegant French trees. Then, visit a French-inspired park and observe locals engaging in dance, song, and Tai Chi. Recharge with a savory lunch at a nearby eatery.
• Shanghai Tower - In the afternoon, explore the Shanghai Tower, China’s tallest skyscraper at 2,073 feet (632 meters). From the observation deck, take in a bird’s-eye view of the entire metropolis.
• Jade Buddha Temple - Next, explore the serene Jade Buddha Temple, wandering through its various halls and admiring the magnificent Buddha figures. Witness the devotion of the local worshippers and gain insight into the intriguing religious culture from your guide.
• The Bund (Wai Tan) - Finally, meander along the waterfront promenade of the Bund, taking in the spectacular urban skyline, which includes landmarks like the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower. If you wish, you can linger to watch the evening light show.
