Incredible Shanghai with Cathy and Jenny - Last day in China as we head home on a 8pm flight. Jenny arranged to pick us up at our hotel mid-morning and filled our day with incredible memories with our host Cathy. We started the day with a visit to St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Designed by English architect William Doyle, and built by French Jesuits between 1906 and 1910, this cathedral is said to have once been known as "the grandest church in the Far East”…and we agree. Then off to our last temple tour of this trip…Longhua Temple is the oldest temple in Shanghai and was first built in 242 AD. Because of its destruction by the wars, most of the buildings were reconstructed during the reign of the Emperor Tongzhi and Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. It features a unique Bell and Drum tower, multiple halls and is the largest temple in Shanghai occupying over 5 acres. This is truly a stunning temple and we had lots of time to explore. Cathy took us to lunch at the famous Jia Jia Tang Bao...they have been making handmade dumplings since 1986. No visit would be complete without a Huangpu River Cruise…day or evening. Amazing views of both the old and new Shanghai skylines and it was a gorgeous day...clear skies. We then went to Fuxing Park which is located in the former French Concession. It was once the largest park in Shanghai and laid out by the French in 1909. About 10 hectare (25 acres) in size. It features a lake, fountains, covered pavilions, and lots of flowerbeds. Early morning, the park fills with dancers, card players, mahjong enthusiasts, tai chi and artists. If you want an incredible experience in Shanghai that starts from the booking all the way through execution, go with Jenny's Shanghai Tours.

Amazing day tour! - We only had one day in Shanghai but Peggy, our private tour guide, made it super special. We booked a private day tour with Jenny's Shanghai tours to make the most out of our transit so we wouldn't be strapped down by a group. Just to name a few things, we saw the Yu Garden, the Jade Buddha temple, the historic town, the bund as well as the new financial district with the highest building and did a ferry ride on the river. We had a tea ceremony and got to try local dumplings. Peggy was amazing, she was very very helpful (specifically since we had to do arrangements for our further travel) and was a wealth of knowledge, a beautiful source of stories and anecdotes. No doubt, we would have enjoyed Shanghai a lot less without her. Highly recommended!!!

Great 12 hour stopover tour - Really great way to spend a 12 hour layover in Shanghai, especially for first timers. It was a very well organised and jam packed day, showing us the best of Shanghai before making sure we were back at the airport in time for our flight. The only thing we would have liked would be to go somewhere a little more ambient and local to eat 😊 really recommend a layover visit.

Absolute blast! Last Minute Shanghai Experience - I recently returned from my holiday, and our final stop before heading to Sydney was in Shanghai. Jenny proved to be outstanding by putting together a last-minute itinerary for me. Despite having only a 15-hour layover, she did an amazing job ensuring that we made the most of our time in Shanghai. Thanks to her efforts, we enjoyed a comprehensive private tour, with Troy as our guide throughout. Troy's expertise shone through as he took us to the finest places that Shanghai has to offer. With him at the helm, there's no room for error, you simply go with the flow and enjoy the experience. My husband and I had an absolutely delightful time, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for your tour needs! Thanks to your teaam, Well Done!

The best introduction to Shanghai! - We booked Jenny's private day tour of Shanghai for the first full day we had in the city, and it's the best decision we could have made. Apple, our tour guide, was the sweetest person imaginable, with an abundance of knowledge about Shanghai the city as well as all of the individual stops we made throughout the day. The planned itinerary was perfect, as it felt like each stop was free of foot traffic/crowds, and we were able to get on the cruise of the Huangpu River just as the sun began to set. Apple also went above and beyond in taking beautiful photos of us in the surroundings throughout the day so we will have cherished memories of Shanghai forever. She was also able to provide us with recommendations for restaurants and sights to see for the rest of our stay, so we highly suggest that you book this tour early on in your visit to get a good lay of the land upfront. Whenever we make it to China again, we will definitely be using Jenny's service for other tours in other cities!

5+ Years With Jenny - We met Jenny 5 years ago when we were traveling to Shanghai for the first time. Now we live in China and have traveled to Shanghai many times but we can always rely on Jenny for all of our Shanghai needs. We recently had a baby and this was baby’s first vacation which can be stressful. However we had Jenny arrange transportation with a car seat for us which made our trip much easier. Jenny and her guides are very knowledgeable. They don’t take you to those tourist trap places where they pressure you to buy things. They can also take you to places off the beaten path which for Shanghai veterans like us, is no small feat! Thanks for making our Shanghai trips easy and memorable!
