Great trip to Yu garden - Beautiful place. The buildings and the gardens are amazing. Very hot this time of year. Busy busy busy. No social distancing and not very many masks being worn either. Cell phone and wifi are limited so post your pictures when back to hotel

Worth a visit, but perhaps no need for guide. - Well worth a visit, but 45-60min is sufficient. If this is your only garden visit whilst in China, perhaps spend more time and possibly a guide. For us, not the only garden and as such, no guided (and expensive) tour was perfectly fine. Shanghai old city just next door also worth while, 2 birds with one stone. Add 30min for this..

Garden of Mandarin - Reading the guides we preferred to book the ticket but once we arrived we discovered that it was also possible to do it on site at a lower price! But surely we saved in time.
