- Sharm El Sheikh - Around 5 am early morning you will be met and greeted with your tour leader who will pick you up by a/c van to Sharm El Sheikh airport to take your flight to luxor, around 07:30 am(subject to flight schedule) you will be landed and outside the arrival hall you will be met with your Egyptology tour guide to start your amazing day…
- Sharm El Sheikh - Around 5 am early morning you will be met and greeted with your tour leader who will pick you up by a/c van to Sharm El Sheikh airport to take your flight to luxor, around 07:30 am(subject to flight schedule) you will be landed and outside the arrival hall you will be met with your Egyptology tour guide to start your amazing day tour in luxor. You will for the start of your trip and transferred around in an air conditioned vehicle for the duration of the day. This is a relaxed but very enlightening day. The day consists of a trip over to the West bank to the “City of the dead” which is steeped in ancient Egyptian mythology. Then on to the “Valley of the Kings” An exceptionally interesting time, be prepared for a little walking here and it is out in the sun so always take a little water with you. Here you will also have the chance to see the Tomb of Ramses VI. Then on to see the Karnack temple and the colossus of Memnon and of course the most famous temple the temple of Hatshepsut!! Guides are not permitted entry to the tombs but they will explain fully beforehand what to expect and what to look for inside. Certain tomb’s require an extra fee for entry, this includes the tomb of Tutankamun and this is always payable at source. Lunch in a local restaurant is included in the cost but drinks are extra. You then have an option for a River Nile trip on a Falucca around Banana Island, this is payable at source. A small amount of time is put to one side for any of you wishing to do a little shopping in any of the local bazaar’s and also visit an albaster factory. You will then be transferred back to the airport ready for your return flight to Sharm. Here you will be collected and returned to your hotel for about 9:30pm just in time to catch your evening meal. A fabulous day and certainly a day to remember. Please don’t forget to take your camera.

Worth while day trip - After a long and bumpy coach ride wonderful to see the lush green feudal fields in Luxor still tended by hand with a donkey. A truely ‘biblical’ scene. Valley of the Kings impressive and beautiful. Karnak spectacular in size and once magnificence. Local lunch in cool setting under trees with tasty dishes. A very worthwhile day excursion with good guide.

Holiday with friend - I had a great time even though it was the third time I went there, relaxing week with a friend, very nice place and friendly and helpful staff, entertainment with very competent people, waiters, bartenders etc. always present and available, very good room cleanliness

Amazing tour around Luxor - We had a great day being guided around Luxor by Said. He was very knowledgable about the tombs and temples and organised the day to suit our needs. After a very early flight from Sharm el Sheik we started off in the Temple of Karnak, had a carriage ride around town, lunch by the river Nile, quick boat ride across for a short drive to the Valley of the Kings and Hatsuptep. The obligatory factory tour and then a longer boat trip on the Nile stopping briefly at banana island. Long day but we’ll wort it. Organisation was perfect and Said was a great guide.

A day trip to Luxor with guide Romany Hanna - Had a wonderful daytrip to Luxor from Sharm el sheik 18 january this year. We went to to valley of the king, temple of Hatsepsut, Karnak temple, Luxor temple, and had a nice lunch at a local restaurant chosen by our guide Romany Hanna, and ended with a boattrip on the Nile and a tour in the Winter palace hotel. Thanks to mr Hanna’s knowledge about ancient Egypt, I had a very experienced day around in Luxor.

Amazing experience - The excursion was very well organized. Our guide Ahmed told us about the new and old Egypt in a very exciting and entertaining way and was always ready to answer all our questions. In addition, we were a small group and thus had an advantage over a large group of buses. It was a perfect day that will be remembered for a long time.

Amazing tour - A really long day but it was absolutely worth it!!!. Our guide was the best we could have!! He knew so much about Egyptian history, the lifestyle of ancient egyptians, all the temples we visited. He told us all about history, the life of the locals in the past and in the present and you could really tell he was enjoying doing this. He gave us useful advices about the shops, the money and really everything we asked. The organisation was great, we managed to see everything included in the program.

Incredible experience - If you want to experience all the great sightseeing spot in and around Luxur, give mohamed a call! Great tour guides that explain the history behind everything and answer all the questions you might have, definitely ask for Said!!

Luxor Wonders in One Day - It was sick an amazing trip.. Luxor is full of history and it was great to see it. Never enough time at the locations but we got a very good overview. Our guide Said was really amazing.. He knew so much not just about the sites we visited but also spoke about a lot of history and culture. I really recommend this tour.. And thank you for a wonderful trip!

NEVER book with Charming Egypt Tours - What a farce! We had booked a private day trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Luxor. Paid everything and received confirmation, but no information regarding pick-up location and/or time. Try to reach Charming Egypt Tours (local organization) through various channels: Whatsapp, Messenger, Tripadvisor… Both in English and Arabic. No response whatsoever. I finally called Charming Egypt Tours a few hours before our planned trip and was informed in broken English that the flight had been canceled. My request for written confirmation of this cancellation once again remained unanswered... Finally, I contacted Viator head office by email. They responded almost immediately. They were also not aware of a cancellation, Charming Egypt Tours apparently had not bothered to notify them either. After +/- 2 hours, another email from Viator with confirmation of cancellation and refund. The amount was refunded on the same day. So 5 stars for the service of Tripadvisor/Viator but 0 stars for Charming Egypt Tours. If they had warned us, we could have avoided a lot of time and stress during our rest holiday!!
