Great day of holiday in Egypt - During the Christmas holidays 2025 I went with my family to Sharm El Sheikh for a week. We got to hike to the colorful canyon (which reminded me a lot of the desert of Ayers Rock in Australia) accompanied by the Egyptian guide El Giasy, a friendly and helpful guy who was very punctual and detailed in illustrating the features of this beautiful place. In the same day we went snorkelling near Dahab and, despite the rough seas, we could admire the beautiful colors that the coral reef offers. The day continued with camel, lunch offered by the Bedouins and a visit to a bazaar in Dahab where we discovered some truly spectacular scented oils. I can say that I had a beautiful day and I was able to know thanks to El Giasy, a very special person, a part of the history of Egypt unknown to me. Absolutely recommended.

Worth it - We made this excursion starting from naama bay, it was all organized well, the guide made us leave early to avoid meeting the other groups that on the same day would have made the same excursion and therefore without wasting time .. the guide was prepared, and told us well everything about history and places seen .. helped us during snorkeling, guiding and calming the entire group .. excursion and experience to recommend,

Well worth the money but there are extras to pay £ - This trip was fantastic for the money. Just bear in mind there are extras that are optional ££ You pay 600 Egyptian £ or €10 to enter the canyon. This needs to be paid when you arrive on the bus. The snorkeling was the highlight. We went out for ages. Felt like 40 mins to 1 hour but can't guarantee full duration as I wasn't tracking it. Coral was beautiful ❤️ The drive up to dahab was beautiful as well. Camel ride short and sweet (kids like tips/sweets), snorkeling gear is mandatory if you want to get in the water as you have to have a life vest on. €10/$10 per person. the lunch is included but the lunch spot charge $1 for shower and $1 for toilets. The pitt stop on the way has free toilets and dahab shopping has free toilets. Bring water and a scarf with you although there are opportunities to buy it on the way. Guides and photographer are fab and make the trip. Jeep was loads of fun but short.

Adventure trip to the max - Lots of adventure with amazing crew. We had the best time on this trip. The diving site was not big but it had a lot of fish. We were glad that we had to rent wetsuit as the water is colder around the reef, and one hour snorkling was perfect Our guide was out for helping - but we was snorkling more or less for ourselves. Food was great The dessert walk in the canyon was so beautiful - and even it is not the biggest canyon there was time for photos, climbing and be an adventura person. Highly recommended

Not sure - I think for the price of the tour it is good but I didn't like the Guide, he was not a trustworthy person. The communication with the agency through wsp was good and fast, I did not have dollars or euros to pay the entrance to one of the places we went, I asked the agency what to do and they responded that I could pay the same amount in egp which was fine. But when the guide asked me for the money I paid him the equivalent of 20 euros in EGP (the entrance fee and the ATV) and he did not want to receive it and was upset because it was not the same according to him, acting in an aggressive manner. and I didn't know what to do about it and right in my wallet I had 20 pounds sterling and he told me that yes, he received it immediately, the pound sterling is equivalent to 23 euros, he could have given me some change but nothing, he put the money in his pocket and continued with his routine, I felt cheated and I was left with a very bad feeling all day and I couldn't enjoy the trip because of this situation. As I said before, for the price it is not bad, but be careful with this kind of situation.

Long day and constant travelling - This was all sell sell sell most of the time spent travelling . Camel ride staff demanding 5 euros for taking you and demanded my husband give them his e cig when he said no he got more pushy and demeanour was threatening.. food at restaurant was practically inedible .. sold as a canyon trip but majority of day was being pushed into shops with people trying to force products on you. The only part that was worthwhile was the hour we spent at the canyon but make sure you wear decent footwear as there's a bit of getting over rocks etc don't wear flip flops and take plenty of water with you, not for people with mobility issues as the terrain in the desert gets tricky and there's about a 40 minute walk. Not at all impressed and wouldn't recommend at all...

Be warned - This will be as factual as possible: - the tour is operated by a different company to the intermediary through which you book it; - not all vans have seat belts; - the first activity (a camel ride) starts ~2.5h from pickup time and lasts 10min. - the camel ride is largely operated by children which indicates possible child labour; - I witnessed a handful of instances of catcalling of women (especially “hey bella!”) who are unaccompanied by a man; - the page advertises Three Pools diving site but the real site is several miles north - the Canyon diving site (per Google maps) - which is somewhat littered; - every stop includes significant pressure to purchase items at inflated prices from makeshift businesses; - we were not enjoying the experience and politely asked to leave. We were told that it was not possible for police & visa reasons. We were effectively held hostage to “the program;” - the actual snorkelling was nice but the guide didn’t speak English and I ended up getting lost. There was no safety briefing and no indication of the route the group would take. I am a strong swimmer so I was fine by myself (and happy for the short break from the high pressure environment); - do not expect to see Dahab; expect to be taken to 1 shop and told you cannot go anywhere else. Within the shop, expect the same high pressure sales tactics as the rest of the trip; - the operators will charge double if you pay for things in EGP because, according to the guide, “on the black market, $10 is E£600;” - the actual location of the canyon hike is not as advertised: it is the White Canyon, not the Colored Canyon. It’s a nice hike nonetheless;

Don't - Be warned, you will spend a lot of time waiting in a van. The van was late, the first activity took place three hours from pick-up and getting there involved two twenty minute stop-offs at places where the organisers clearly had a relationship with suppliers in order to extract more money from tourists. Everything on the tour contains a hidden extra charge with inflated prices. The camel riding stop involves a disturbing amount of child labour. The guides are generally unhelpful and refused to believe we had paid for our trip in advance and the owner rude. Think very carefully before booking this trip or using this operator.

It was a very bad experience - It's not a place worth going. The place called Canyon takes only 10 minutes to see. The guide on the tour only spoke Russian. They didn't even explain what to do at the points we stopped by and at the point we arrived for snorkeling, they tried to forcefully sell life jackets and they try to rip you off at the restaurant. It was a very bad experience for us.
