Dirt Buggy Ride - Best quad bike experience. I done it in Morocco and Dubai but Egypt experience was the most fun. The dinner and show at the end was great. The only thing was that we waited a long time for the food but it tasted really good after the long wait. The photographer was great he video the experience well worth the fee. Definitely a must do whilst in Sharm El Sheikh. Please only wear old clothes a scarf and glasses as you will get covered in sand completely, the desert sand gets in your eyes.

An unforgettable experience!!! - The tour has a bit of the magic of the 1001 nights! With those scarves that give you the air of a Bedouin, a combination between a villain and an Arab Robin Hood... running freely on the endless ocean of sand... a completely different world. Just let your imagination fly and the fairy tale takes shape! But, because there is also a "but", there are some who take advantage of this enchantment, of the tourists' naivety, but above all of their kindness... with the consent of those who organize the tours, I tend to believe! It's about the so-called photographers-cameramen, who follow you and harass you with pictures and videos. I will limit myself to my example, strictly! There was a guy that I really couldn't escape from, who followed us and followed us with his camera throughout the tour. In the end, my wife persuaded me, who decided to buy the "profi" video from this guy. I agreed to the price of 20 euros and he had to send us the pictures and the video that he was going to process by transfer... and I received some pictures taken at the end, in a hurry when we were leaving the tour and with bad light, and a very short video of 2 minutes!!! That's why I'm attaching a picture of this trickster, so you don't fall into his trap.

Good excursion, book direct if you can and avoid dealing with this company ‘Touritos’. Otherwise excursion staff lovely. - The team who run the experience themselves were very attentive and welcoming, even getting my 10yo his own quad and sitting in the back of his and letting us separate from the main group at times to make sure he was comfortable and confident driving on his own eventually. The photographer was very attentive and the staff running the activity were very patient and allowed extra time for us to get a bunch of lovely memorable snaps. We were initially told to pay for scarves, however I showed the tripadvisor page stating scarves were included to the English speaking member of staff and he quickly said ‘ok no problem’ so that was very quickly resolved. Downsides: When booking, the pick up time stated 3:30. Touritos later told me 4am on WhatsApp. The driver did not turn up until 4:40 am and Touritos would not answer constant calls and messages both via WhatsApp and tripadvisor while we were waiting. The company were not picking us up from reception therefore me and my child were waiting by the main road in the cold for a very lengthy period of time. Until today (2 days later) Touritos have not contacted me to apologise or find out how things ended which is extremely disappointing. When the excursion was over the same driver dropped us back. We were the last ones to be dropped off. He very inappropriately put into google translate that he wanted to kiss me so that he could show me in English. At this point my son was lying on my shoulder and I’m very lucky he didn’t look up at the phone. Honestly the team who run the excursion are lovely. I know that Touritos is most likely a completely separate entity who refer customers to them and take a commission. Also the driver isn’t a part of the experience so his behaviour isn’t their fault. But these are things to be aware of nonetheless. I wouldn’t book another excursion through Touritos personally. I like spending my money where I’m valued.

Felt ripped off. - This trip was ok. Some newer bikes that weren’t burning our feet would have been appreciated. The description also says scarfs are included which they weren’t they made us pay £5 each for these scarfs that looked liked they’d been cut in half. If they had stated that it wasn’t included we would have been able to bring our own and better quality ones. The show was also sub par. But all in all we got some decent pictures

High stress - Ok so this experience was amazing - on paper. Riding a camel , quad biking in the desert and then the show. Let me tell you the reality. Getting hounded to pay for headscarves when you have already paid for them in your package. Then riding on rickety quad bikes that kept cutting out. The camel ride its self lasted about 2 minutes - it was dark as well by then so no real photo opportunities. The people conducting the camel rides offered to take a picture on my phone to which I hastily accepted then was almost threatened I must give a tip (which I would of of course - they were doing me a favour …. it was just the mannerism)Also being hassled by the locals to buy bracelets etc. they will quickly try to tie them on to your wrist and tell you it’s a gift. Even a stern NO thank you did not deter one woman who started yelling at me in Arabic. After this was the show, actually in fairness was a nice time. The only real let down of the show were the toilets. They stank so bad - actually smelt like even the camels used them. They didn’t flush and obviously had no toilet paper. Literally have to hold your nose and hover. Then after all of this having to ride back through the desert in the complete dark. For me with a child on my quad with me. Couldn’t see where I was going because of the dust and the lights on the quads are almost non existent. Actually a pretty scary experience if I’m honest.

Buggy was good but vip show & dinner was awful - We felt safe on the trip and the quad/buggy guys were friendly and always helpful. We were a family member of 4, with 2 kids under 6. We requested a 4 seater buggy and had to ask again for it but no issues they got one out. The Lucky Night venue where the vip dinner and show was held was pretty poor. Food was a mixed grill but served totally cold (sorry not risking the trots eating this) Quite a few powercuts during the show, belly dancing, spinning skirt guy and fire show. Was an average show, just done an evening trip in Marrakesh which was a lot more entertaining to be honest and food was hot and delicious. I would recommend the quads but not the show.

Many negative... - Many negative expirations. First different hour then we booked. We booked 12:30, but we were informed that we start at 1430, which was was not convinced for us., but no other option to choose. Later asked to pay for the scarf - 5$ eat when in offer where said free, after unpleasant negotiation the gave it for free. Need to pay for children glasses -15 $, which was no info - but ok, you need them. Then old , crappy quads. And super crowded all spots. A lot of rubish, you don’t feel any feel any true nature.. Than poor camel - 30 sec. not / 5-10 minutes, where the poor camel is forced to stand up and lay 1000 times a day, we decide not to take it. Then a show - for my medium, nothing cool, where we ordered some juces, and when to pay they said different price the oryginaly sad - again very unpleasant experience. Generali vey low level and bad emotions. If could paid more but have better experience would choose so.

Not worth the money, go diving instead! - Avoid unless you enjoy sitting around doing nothing. Quad bikes are in terrible condition, bald tyres, non-functioning brakes and broken plastic farings on so bikes. The quad ride lasts about 10 minutes and takes place entirely alongside a busy road, you then get left to sit and wait in a "camp" for an hour while people try to sell you drinks and shisha. Another two minute quad ride and you get to line up and yell at a mountain range to hear your echo. After that it's a quick 10 minute quad ride back along side the main road back to their main base to drop off the quads and wait for a van to take you back to the place you just spent an hour in for the show and food. Show was good, belly dancer and fire dancer both entertaining. Food was average, couple of pieces of dry and cold chicken and some salads, my partner has been sick for two days since eating here. To top it all off when it came time to leave they'd somehow not allowed enough vans and we had to wait another 30 minutes for a taxi to pick us up, which didn't even drop us back to the hotel but about 10 minutes walk away as the driver didn't want to go down the one way road. I've done a similar trip in Hurghada which was 100% better than this.
