Really good fun! - Really good fun! Very safe - make sure you don’t pay for the photos at the start but let the photographers who are there take some great photos of you and then buy the package ( around £35)

Very good and well managed - This experience was very good and it was organised very nicely. Originally, there were some reviews that put me off, but it was overall very good and there was no people who tried to scam us with the scarfs (unlike what was written from other people). Transfer had A/C and was quick and on time. Also was very easy to navigate the desert and follow the line and we were also able to have some photo opportunities with the tall hills as well as with the camel and also riding the camel. Thanks to touritos for the experience!

Very disappointing - Although we had a lovely time it was slightly boring. Buggy was the best part but broke down twice. Star glazing was a complete waste of time. Dinner was burn and cold whereas other seem to be piping hot. Entertainment was awful. A belly dancer and a guy spinning what I called a larger hat. Had thought the Bedouins lived the the desert but with a DJ it was hard to believe.

Cute. - The excellent organization, very nice quad bike ride, disappointing camel “walk”, dinner in the Bedouin village good, but little quantity. Cute show. Recommendation for those who have never done so, but created specifically for tourists.

Not one to miss, but maybe use another provider - So, overall I would say this was a good evening and I think it’s very clear that it’s a huge income for the locals and very popular amongst tourists and even locals so it shouldn’t be missed. But read below for some sound advice. Firstly, we were picked up in an SUV with 3 men inside, all a bit unofficial and a little nerve racking initially before being dropped off to a shuttle bus on the side of a motorway some 15 minutes later - okay no real problem here but a little unorganised. Then, we got to the site and there wasn’t much structure, someone tried to sell us a head scarf for $5 that they later confirmed WAS included in the booking, they have sunglasses you can purchase, I forgot to bring mine and it is ESSENTIAL you bring some as the sand content in your eyes is crazy 😅 There was a brief explanation on operating the QUAD/ATV and was no option of a buggy, but I had used an ATV before so I managed but you may need more assistance. I discovered very quickly my ATV had NO brakes front or rear, I overcame this as they didn’t seem to care when I told them - oh someone else also had a small fire, it was actually quite amusing. Whatever you do, wear dark clothes or even ones you don’t mind disposing of if needs must, they all leak and spray oil onto your legs and it’s extremely hot as the engines heat comes to both lower legs. You will be covered in sand. The route is great, you visit some locals that have some handmade items they will ask you to purchase, if you wish to support the local community, consider taking some cash as there will be a few times you will be asked to purchase. Where we stopped to sit down, have the camel ride is where it was a slight let down. The poor camel was the skinniest camel I’ve seen so what I’m about to say makes sense, but it’s advertised as a 10/15 minute camel ride, but in reality you’re lucky to get 1.5 minutes, then with being offered to purchase drinks, photos of yourself on the quad bikes and more handmade items. After getting back and inefficiently transferring to another shuttle bus, we headed to the show. Promptly sat at our own private ‘booth’, our meal was served within minutes. We chose to purchase drinks when someone first came to offer but they did mention bottled water is included with the meal at this point, along with a bottle of coke each we found out. The food was brilliant, very traditional and they were not shy on the servings. Then for the show, it did seem like an awful long time waiting for it to start, when it did start I wasn’t sure what was going on. I’ve been to a few similar Arab shows with horses and other performing acts and they have been brilliant but without giving any bad words as this is not what this is about, just go with a very open frame of mind and lower your expectations, there are 3 acts and they are fairly simple. Just enjoy the atmosphere, the great food and the location of where you are. These 3 things on top of having the opportunity to ride around in the Safari area makes up for it all. A truly great experience if this is your sort of thrill or way to see the locals.

The very nice Bedouins - I was going to go with my husband through the Guide we had, but he told us that the food was not good, that the meat had changed. So in the end we didn't go. What we did was the quad bike and the camel took our picture. We had tea (which by the way was delicious) I recommend it.

No one picked us up, but Viator were super helpful - We booked on the day (approx 3 hours before tour was due to start) but no one picked us up from the pick up location. 3 stars as Viator were super helpful via WhatsApp, they confirmed we were in the right location (an hour before tour start time) but tour provider was not responding to them either. After waiting an hour, Viator refunded and apologised, to be fair, Viator were good and responsive. I would book again, but give it a good 24hrs I think rather than try and do on the day.

High stress - Ok so this experience was amazing - on paper. Riding a camel , quad biking in the desert and then the show. Let me tell you the reality. Getting hounded to pay for headscarves when you have already paid for them in your package. Then riding on rickety quad bikes that kept cutting out. The camel ride its self lasted about 2 minutes - it was dark as well by then so no real photo opportunities. The people conducting the camel rides offered to take a picture on my phone to which I hastily accepted then was almost threatened I must give a tip (which I would of of course - they were doing me a favour …. it was just the mannerism)Also being hassled by the locals to buy bracelets etc. they will quickly try to tie them on to your wrist and tell you it’s a gift. Even a stern NO thank you did not deter one woman who started yelling at me in Arabic. After this was the show, actually in fairness was a nice time. The only real let down of the show were the toilets. They stank so bad - actually smelt like even the camels used them. They didn’t flush and obviously had no toilet paper. Literally have to hold your nose and hover. Then after all of this having to ride back through the desert in the complete dark. For me with a child on my quad with me. Couldn’t see where I was going because of the dust and the lights on the quads are almost non existent. Actually a pretty scary experience if I’m honest.
