The Shoals, a collection of four charming cities in Alabama, beckoned to me with the promise of music history and cultural richness. As a retired teacher with a penchant for road trips, I couldn’t resist the allure of the Florence Multi-Attraction Pass. My husband and I packed up our trusty RV and set off on a journey that would take us through the heart of America’s musical legacy.

Our first stop was the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Walking through the doors felt like stepping into a time capsule.
