As a music lover...WOW! Just WOW! - This place has been on my Bucket List for years! As a music lover and history of music lover, I felt like a kid in a candy store! I don't even know where to begin! Chase was a great tour guide and knew the building and its rich history well. This place is a former casket shop (and yes it's haunted according to Chase). Cher was the first artist to record here and named her album "3614 Jackson Highway", the address of the studio. Other huge names who recorded here include the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, and Lynyrd Skynyrd to name just a few. From the famous lyrics to Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Now Muscle Shoal has got The Swampers, and they've been known to pick a song or two (yes, they do!)" The Swampers were a rhythm section session musicians who recorded back up in the studio. There is also a small but really neat souvenir gift shop that has t-shirts, magnets and other cool items. The cool vibes were everywhere! If these walls could talk...

Nostalgic tour - An engaging and informative presentation gave the background to the evolution and development of this studio and the many famous artists who have recorded there over the years. Having lived through this era ourselves, we found it all fascinating and quite emotional.

Bucket List tour for fans of Music History. - Touring this iconic studio was time travel back to the days of my mis-spent youth listening to the rock, pop, soul, R & B, early country rock hits that rolled out of Muscle Shoals on the airwaves and vinyl etc. History was made here with what Aretha dubbed as the "funky" sound that seemed to come up out of the river water of this area! The tour guides were were proud to tell the stories of the artists and players who labored here make music that is still relevant.

This place is magical!! - This was one of BEST tours we've ever been on! Our guide, Terrell, was so excited to show us around and his stories were incredible, he's a pretty "cool cat"! If you are into music and know anything about Muscle Shoals, DO NOT miss this one! The place really is magical and if only those walls could talk! Highly recommend.

Great time at Muscle Shoals Studio! - We really enjoyed this tour! The guide was so knowledgeable and shared many stories of his experiences in the studio with the musicians. The studio has quite a history, and the original equipment and decor really bring it to life. Whether you are a fan of classic rock and soul, or are a history buff, I highly recommend! Be sure to arrive early so you can visit the little gift shop.
