• Kaminarimon Gate - The iconic Kaminarimon Gate! This is where the tour begins. As well, it makes for an excellent photo spot!
• Nakamise Shopping Street (Kaminarimon) - This historic street used to be full of vendors and popular attractions! The street is still full of plenty of shops selling souvenirs and snacks!
• Senso-ji Temple - Our native English speaking guide will explain the history and cultural importance of Sensoji Temple.
• Asakusa - We will go to a local restaurant for lunch. There is choice of soba, sushi, or Tonkatsu. The lunch is included with the tour.
• Tea Ceremony In Shibuya Uguisu An - After the tour of Sensoji Temple, unwind with wagashi (Japanese sweets) and a cup of matcha tea in our very own traditional tea room.

This private tour is done by a licensed guide. This tour blends the historic with the modern by bringing you to the heart of Asakusa. The tour begins at the main gate of Tokyo’s oldest temple, Sensouji, built in 645AD. Leading to the temple is Nakamise-dori, where there are plenty of shops that are perfect for souvenir shopping. After our stroll through Sensouji, we will stop by a local restaurant for lunch (included.) There is a choice of sushi, soba, or fried pork. We cater to vegetarians and gluten-free customers. Our tour ends with some delicious wagashi (Japanese sweets) alongside a cup of matcha tea in our very own traditional tearoom! The tour typically lasts around four hours, including time for transportation.
