With over a decade of experience capturing Shibuya’s essence, Laurence possesses a deep understanding of the area’s most intriguing spots. He’s also seasoned in conducting photography workshops, offering valuable insights to enhance your nocturnal photography skills.
The session will kick off with a discussion on the optimal camera settings before we dive into the heart of Shibuya at the world’s most crowded intersection. Our initial focus will be on mastering panning shots. Following that, Laurence will escort participants to various hidden gems he’s uncovered over the years, assisting them in capturing stunning, neon-lit images reminiscent of a ‘Blade Runner’ aesthetic.

Great street photography experience by night in Shibuya - I followed this evening workshop accompanied by my 11 years old son and we had both a great time.
Laurence is a really nice guy, very talented and resourceful. He knows his playground very well and he shared with us some very cool night spots in Shibuya for street photography. He gave me many tips and I learned a lot from his approach to street photography. I am pretty sure it will help me to grow in my own practice.
Laurence also took care of my son during the tour, giving him some advice as well. And my son actually took pretty nice shot during the tour ! Thanks Laurence :)
If I come back to Tokyo, I will definitely follow another workshop with Laurence ! If you get the chance, don't think too much, just book one of them. You won't regret.

Great workshop to enhance street photography - I chose this workshop because I wanted to have a different point of view about night street photography. I wasn't disappointed. Laurence showed me very interesting spots in Shibuya to create graphic photography and gave me tips for enhancing my style. He adapted the explanations to my camera brand. I highly recommend this workshop.

Brilliant photo tour - do it! - Brilliant tour with Laurie who was unbelievably helpful and had great local knowledge. He knew some great spots to take a wide range of photos and gave really helpful tips. Excellent communication and very easy to meet up with him.
