Unforgettable Private Tour with English-Speaking Driver - We had an amazing experience on the "Explore Nikko in a Day" tour with a private car and an English-speaking driver. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The convenience of having a private car allowed us to travel in comfort and style, making the day both relaxing and enjoyable. Our driver was not only punctual but also very knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights about the sites we visited. Nikko itself is a beautiful destination, and we were able to see the most iconic spots without the stress of navigating public transportation. The driver tailored the itinerary to our preferences, ensuring we got the most out of every moment. The scenic beauty of Nikko, combined with the ease of this private tour, made it an unforgettable day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Nikko in a hassle-free, comfortable, and insightful way. It was truly an experience we won’t forget!

Amazing trip and experience. Highly recommend! - Adeel was an incredible guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the local culture and planned out our day perfectly so we got to cover a lot of ground in Nikko. He was also super at capturing special moments by taking pictures of us. It was a wonderful experience and well worth it.

Japan Holidays with Friends - Trip to Nikko is highly recommended! Beautifu viewl despite rain and heavy mist. Hassle free and travel with comfort with a group of 8. Our driver is friendly, will help us to take photos. He is a confident and safe driver. Recommended if one prefers to travel in comfort and does not like to travel in trains and bus.

I highly recommend this tour! Great experience! - My daughter and I had a wonderful time on this tour. The driver was great! We had a delay due to a major accident on the way to Nikko; but were still able to see everything in the tour. He even took us to an extra place at the end of the tour. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites. Highly recommend!!!

Nikki by private transport was awesome! - Our driver was Adele. He met us at our hotel in Shibuya. He communicated with us before his arrival and made the pick up was very easy. Abeel arrived in a nice minivan vehicle with plenty of space and the vehicle was clean and well maintained. He was able to confirm our interests for the day by asking a few questions. The trip to Nikko from Tokyo took a couple hours but time just few by because Abeel was so knowledgeable about all things in Japan. He was able to give some specific information about Nikko as well but we enjoyed quizzing him about life and culture in Japan. He really made the day flow smoothly. Many times he went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had the best possible experience. Regarding the location, Nikko is a fabulous escape from the urban experience of Tokyo. We visited some outstanding nature sites with a tram that took us to a gorgeous overlook of a lake, waterfalls, and the village. We went on to view the waterfall up close and it was so beautiful. We had lunch in town at a traditional Japanese restaurant (not included but very reasonable. Our guide Abeel gave us advice on what to try and waited with the vehicle until we were finished. We viewed the lake as well. Of all the places we visited, the shrine and temples that are part of the World Heritage Site were absolutely stunning. We spent two hours there and we were repeatedly surprised at every turn. This location gets my highest recommendation. Our guide did not walk around with us at the site but there is a lot of available information for all levels of interest. We arrived back in Shibuya in the evening after another stimulating conversation about all things Japanese with Abeel. While this trip is on the more expensive side of our activities, it was worth every dollar we spent. This day was one of our favorite parts of our Tokyo trip. Abeel really took it to the next level as our guide and I highly recommend him.

It was OK - We had a good day in Nikko but I thought I could point out a few things to make it better 1) The driver should arrive on time. He arrived at the pick-up point 25 min later. 2) The driver should announce the itinerary at the beginning of the trip and let us know the timing at every stop. We spent so much time in the foggy lakeside and shopping area in the beginning that he did not have time to take us to Toshogu. I had to insist on it. 3) The fare should include the parking. He asked me to pay for the parking

Worth the journey but rubbish guide. - The sights etc are worth the journey but our trip was blighted by our guide. Before we even got underway he contacted us and insisted we leave an hour earlier. On the drive he hardly spoke, he was constantly using his phone and messaging while driving. When it came to food he tried to force a couple of options on us that we did want to dine at. Finally, at the end of the day he had the cheek to pressure me for a 5 star review. To contrast we have had 4 other guides during this trip and they have all been great and very knowledgeable.

Nikko was Great/Driver was Not - Exploring Nikko was great even though we could not see the lake or waterfall due to fog. The mountainous area was beautiful. And the shrines you could see there were unlike any others. The problem was with the car and the driver. The 10 air fresheners in the vehicle were completely overwhelming. He barely spoke to us and watched tv while driving (completely unacceptable). The tour company was helpful and plans to remedy the situation.
