Fun foodie walking tour - Our lovely tour guides, Hana and Hirona, walked us through a fun path of sweet treats and cultural experiences. This was a great way to try some of the local street deserts amongst the fun fashion shops. We well looked after.

Hana for Harajuku foodie tour is the best! - Hana was great, she knows all the great places to get amazing food! And a bonus trip into the Samsung team Lab exhibit, very cool! Highly recommend asking for Hana on this adventure!

Amazing guide. Great food and spots. - Hirona (the guide) was fantastic. She takes you to amazing places to eat as well as sightsee. It was great as she knew all the less crowded spots. One of the best guides I have experienced.

Great walking tour if you love sweets! - We booked our Harajuku Foodie Walking tour at short notice. I emailed ahead to check accessibility requirements and I received a quick response. The tour was well organised and our tour guide, Hirona, was very accommodating including taking photos, communicating via WhatsApp in advance of the tour and after. The tour was at a great pace and included the price of food. The tour didn’t have any savoury food but we received a great recommendation about where to have a traditional meal after. I would recommend this tour, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

WORST Foodie Tour Ever! - AVOID this tour and here are issues: 1) This is NOT a half day tour. It’s only 2 hours 2) The tour only goes down one street and you pick places that you want food from, not the guide. We actually had to ask for recommendations instead of them being stops like on a regular food tour. It seems like the neighborhood is filled with other gems like the delicious donut place around the corner, but we only had the option of the one street. You are also given a budget of 2,000 yen which I’ve never heard of in a food tour. The tour also goes to the Meiji Shine which has nothing to do with food and not a listed place to go to. 3) The tour meets up in Shibuya, but you then have to hop on a metro to go to Harajuku. The tour is supposed to include the fare, however we had to pay for the metro. Why didn’t the tour just meet in Harajuku? 4) Water is not given freely and was supposed to be included. It was after we showed our guide the ticket that it was included, it was offered. 5) The meeting place directions on the Apple map link and as listed are not accurate. We were delayed 20 minutes since it wasn’t until the tour guide called us to tell us the exact name of the place Travelex Currency Exchange in the East Mall that we were able to find it. 6) The tour guide was very sweet, but kept asking us why we picked this tour since Harajuku is not known for food.
