Wonderful experience - It was an excellent experience to make Nerikiri. The host was a very friendly and supportive lady who used to live in the U.S. She speaks both English and Japanese fluently. I made four Nerikiri, which was very enjoyable. After making Nerikiri, we were explained how to make own Matcha Tea. We could bring those four hand-made Nerikiri and Japanese sweets served with Match Tea. Thank you very much for the nice opportunity. Recommended!

Recommend! - The hostess is sooo nice and helped take a lot of photos. The making was not easy but enjoyable. You can freely choose the forms you like. The environment was quiet and beautiful. The tea ceremony was also really intriguing and the mocha was tasty!

Book it! - Book it! This was so much fun, I took the class with my mom and sister. She had us choose three pieces we wanted to make and then we free styled the fourth. She already made the doughs so we could just practice the techniques. I forgot to ask tips on making the dough but she provided instructions. We went to the kitchen street the next day to find the tools. I can’t wait to make nerikiri at home. The home was beautiful and she was so gracious and patient.

A special experience in Tokyo - My whole family (including young kids) really enjoyed our sweets making class with Hana. She was a great teacher and the class was a perfect afternoon activity. We each made 4 pieces of mochi: sakura, helko kitty, Totoro, and one of our own design. After the mochi, we learned how to make matcha. I highly recommend this as a special experience in Tokyo!
