What's up Japan - tour of Shibuya and hidden areas great! Tour guide expert - The trip was great, Goki was a great trip guide and expert in Shibuya- my guy lives there and works there. He's probably visited most of the restaurants, izakayas, and bars in the area being a local. We first went to a sushi restaurant with bartop, very personal and delicious sushi. Had a great recommendation from Goki on beer and sushi platter. Next we walked to a local spot with kushikatsu, beer, and sake. Final stop was an izakaya in a spot I'll describe as open air bar market. Some tea and small dish of okonomiyaki. Plus a roaming guitar singer with PA system, never seen that before. I can't plus up enough Goki, he is able to carry straight English conversations with tourists and switch back to fluent Japanese easily with servers and bartenders. Wonderful tour guide. Felt like a friend after the night of tours and wandering the streets 🤠. Country Roads and similar sentiment.
