Amazing tour with Jane- kids of food and engaging host! - Jane was an absolutely amazing host- so accommodating!! There were only two of us and she made the tour so personal! One of us was vegetarian and the other was a bit fussy about fish but she was able to sort us out with different options! 🌱 🍣 It was also great getting told about some interesting background to Japanese food along the wqy! We were stuffed afterwards- we got sooo much more food than we expected haha. Thanks again Jane!! 😊

Shibuya Food Tour - We did a tour of Shibuya with Jane. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and an excellent host. The food was delicious and each venue interesting. And we didn't have to walk very far at all! We all loved the experience. I would do the food tour again. Five stars!

Outstanding tour and guide! - The tour was excellent. Special thanks to our guide Ray who was outstanding, very knowledable, kind, with great sense of humour. We had three different tours during our stay in Japan and this was the best. It helped that Ray is not Japanise although completely immersed in local life and culture, so he understands the foreign perspective. We learn a lot about Japanise foot and customs and all the stops were different and interesting.

A highly recommended introdution to Japanese cuisine in a small group - The tour was an excellent intro to Japanese food in Japan! Serena was a very good guide. In addition to details on Japanese cuisine she shared other interesting cultural insights. There was loads of food so pace yourself. Highly recommended.

Awesome your, terrific guide - The food tour of Shibuya with Serena was easily one of the top experiences of our trip to Japan. I suppose if I had any quibble, it would be that finding the tour group at the famous crossing/scramble was difficult because of construction and crowds, but that’s where we began. But, from there, everything was wonderful. She tailored the food tour match our teen and our 10-year old. The sushi was outstanding, as was everything else. The rest of the charm came from the guide, her knowledge base and her perspective. She taught us everything we ever wanted to know about claw machines and Tokyo culture. Truly terrific. Would recommend - and you should most certainly ask for her as a guide.

Recommended - Super! We had a wonderful afternoon. Daniel (Dani) has taken us to such unique eateries that we would never visit/find ourselves. The food was not only incredibly delicious but Dani also knew so much about the history of the neighborhood, the eating habits, the etiquette that applies... Dani, thanks for the great time and who knows, see you in your own city;)

Delicious and informative! - We took this tour to close out our first full day in Japan and it was the perfect opener. From the moment she greeted us, Serena was warm and inviting and all around just an incredible guide. She took us to several eateries in Shibuya that we definitely would have never found on our own and all of the food from the sushi to the ramen to the okinomiyaki (my first time trying) was delectable. Throughout the tour, Serena imparted her impressive knowledge about Japanese dining culture and nightlife, and gave colorful answers to our endless questions re: her life as an expat in Tokyo. My only recommendation is that you go hungry because I was full halfway through and had to take the dessert home to eat later. Overall, this was an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough. And to Serena - you deserve all the cherry blossoms for making our first night in Japan so special! Arigato gozaimasu!
