Great way to sample Japanese cuisine - This was great! We’d already been in Japan for over a week, and in Tokyo for two days, but Melissa took us to places we would never have found on our own. Hidden gems in upstairs restaurants with sushi, or tonkatsu, or a unique ramen. Go with an empty stomach because you will get plenty to eat. And ask for Melissa: she was full of useful information and local knowledge, plus very friendly and easy going.

Terrific food tour with Jane - I did the Best of Shibuya Food Tour with Jane and it was fantastic!!! Jane took us to 5 different restaurants, each specializing in a different kind of food and they were all superb. We had sushi, ramen, yakitori, okonomiyaki and imagawayaki (a dessert). These were not touristy restaurants, and each was full of local people enjoying the best food. Jane did a fantastic job of telling us about the different types of food and what makes each authentic. This tour was a real treat!!

Food, culture, a not to miss activity!! - The tour not only met our expectations, but went beyond!! It’s so much more than just finding places to eat. It’s history, culture, and information we would not have learned by walking the streets and trying restaurants ourselves. We certainly feel so enriched by the experience! A word of advice, don’t beat lunch before hand! So much food, so many flavours and delivered by friendly, knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend

Best food tour ever! - This was an amazing tour largely because of our tour guide Ray! We saw lots of cool parts of Tokyo, out-of-the-way places that we wouldn’t have otherwise had an opportunity to see. Ray showed us so many fun parts of Tokyo with cultural tidbits and stories that made the city come alive. It was wonderful for children and adults. We ate delicious food, including sushi, sake, Ramen, chicken, wings, and okinomiyaki. If you choose to go on this tour, which we highly recommend please, please request Ray.

Fun food tour - What a fun food tour! We easily found our guide Saika at the Station. She showed us a number of sites around Shibuya that we had walked past earlier, not knowing what they were! We had a number of very authentic Japanese restaurants, that were clearly favorites of the locals. Along the way Saika took great photos, including one in the middle of Shibuya scramble that will be on our Christmas card in 2025! Highly recommend.

Must-do culinary tour! - This tour was amazing. Our guide Saika was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to a number of hidden local gems where we sampled some delicious and varied Japanese cuisine. We would never have found them without her. Saika also told us a lot about the local area. Such a fun experience. I can’t recommend this trip enough. Thank you Saika!
