- Shibuya Scramble Square - Shibuya Scramble Square is a versatile skyscraper linked to Shibuya Station in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
This structure is part of a redevelopment project for the station area. Positioned above Shibuya Station, the complex comprises three buildings: an eastern building, Shibuya Scramble Square (229.71 m in height), a central building (61 m in height), and a western building (76 m in height). Construction commenced in 2014 and is expected to conclude in 2027, covering an area of 276,000 m2. The eastern building, Shibuya Scramble Square skyscraper, was finalized in October 2019 and opened on November 1, 2019, with an area of 181,000 m2. Shibuya Scramble Square surpassed the Cerulean Tower in height, becoming the tallest skyscraper in Shibuya district. The underground floor of Shibuya Scramble Square is directly connected to Shibuya Station. An observation deck, “SHIBUYA SKY,” is located on the rooftop of the skyscraper.

Hachikō Memorial Statue - One of Japan’s unofficial landmarks, the Hachiko statue in Shibuya honors the loyal Akita dog who waited daily at Shibuya Station for his owner, even after his owner’s passing. Today, it stands as one of Tokyo’s most popular meeting spots.

Shibuya Nonbei Yokocho - This small, narrow alley, a short walk from Shibuya Station, hosts numerous kiosk-sized bars. It’s an excellent place to socialize with locals over a beer or chat with the bartender, some of whom speak English.

MEGA Don Quijote Shibuya - The Mega Don Quijote stores (or Mega Donki) are larger versions of the Don Quijote Discount Goods store and operate 24/7. These expansive stores offer a wide range of products, including fun snacks, cosmetics, costumes, groceries, everyday clothing, electronics, and more. Visiting the Shibuya Mega Donki is quite an experience, especially if it’s your first time, as the vast array of products, flashing lights, and jingles create a sensory overload.

Miyashita Park - Miyashita Park is located in one of the few green spaces within the business district of Shibuya Ward, bordered by the Yamanote Line and Saikyō Line tracks running between Shibuya Station and Harajuku Station, Meiji Street, and the Shibuya and Udagawa rivers (currently used as covered drainage conduits). Initially opened until 1964, when the Tokyo Olympics were held, the park was above ground like Jingu Street Park (神宮通り公園) near Harajuku. However, with the transformation of Shibuya River into a drainage conduit, the park was redeveloped on artificial land above a parking lot.
