During this tour, participants will discover Tokyo’s hidden gems on the way to Tokyo Tower, including secluded spots like Jingu Gaien and Aoyama Cemetery, which are difficult to access via public transport. Participants will relish the thrilling experience of cycling through the city at night, enjoying the serene atmosphere while being surrounded by the captivating glow of Tokyo’s illuminated skyline.
- Our bicycles are suitable for heights between 155 cm and 185 cm.
- Tour participants should be proficient in cycling on pavements, cross traffic lights confidently, and through crowded/tight spaces.
- We will be traveling at approximately 15 kilometers per hour. Participants are expected to ride their bicycles at this speed and to do so confidently. 15 kilometers per hour is a typical cycling speed.
- For groups of 4 or more participants, please contact the organizer directly.
- The tour will proceed in light rain, but it may be canceled due to sudden weather changes.

Excellent Tokyo overview! - Amazing experience biking through the city, neighborhoods, shops and a beautiful cemetery at night. A great way for us to get an overview of a few areas while avoiding day time crowds and heat. Our guide Tai Chi was excellent, pointing out architectural aspects, local food areas, and cultural facts. Very peaceful riding at night. Highlight experience for our family ages 19-69. Loved it!

Awesome trip that shows incredible parts of the city with excellent stories and explanations - This is a great tour. I read a review saying that it was the highlight of their trip to Tokyo and I couldn't agree more. We rode for a bit more than 2 hours at a very friendly pace, and the guide was showing and explaining us many parts of the city that would have been very hard to reach otherwise. It was amazing. I would really recommend the night trip as the temperature was perfect and it was not too crowded to ride on the sidewalks. If I know of any friend that is going to Tokyo, I would suggest this trip as a must.

Highly recommend - We recently embarked on a 2-hour biking tour in Tokyo with Ikeda, and it was an absolute delight! Ikeda was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience not only informative but also very enjoyable. Despite having visited Tokyo multiple times before, we were pleasantly surprised at how much new information we were able to learn. The tour was well-organized, covering a mix of popular spots and hidden gems that only a seasoned guide could know. It's a fantastic way to see the city from a different perspective. Whether you're a first-timer or a frequent visitor, I highly recommend this biking tour if you're looking to discover Tokyo in a new and exciting way!

Great bike tour through Tokyo at night - It was a really great bike tour. Perfectly organized, perfect, professional guide, great route. Really great impressions of Tokyo. The final highlight was a ride through the cemetery and past the Olympic Stadium. We will book it again on our next visit, highly recommended

Best night tour of Japan - This 2 hour night tour was the best way to see Tokyo at night as first time travelers in Japan! Taichi was great, he was really able to show us lot of popular areas while answering a lot of questions. The tour was definitely well thought and planned by Taichi. The biking aspect was fun too, and we felt safe. Would 100% recommend!

Lovely night out under the Tokyo winter lights - My group of four did this night cycle through Tokyo. It was so amazing. We got to ride on the roads through the busiest streets lit up with winter lights and managed to pass all parts of the city we hadn’t been to. Our tour guide Taichi was the loveliest man with strong English skills - he told us that in 2018 he had started his own business as a cycling tour guide but then completely lost his job for the past few years due to Covid. He then kindly expressed how grateful he was that we came and did this with him because even 2023 has been tough and he’s trying to get back on his feet. I completely recommend his service. Give it a try.
