FABULOUS way to start off our week in Tokyo - loved Yuco (our tour guide)! - Our family of 4 (17yr old daughter, 14yr old son) were in Tokyo for a week and arrived at 530am so thought it would be great to start with a short walking tour to get over jetlag quick and get to know the various neighborhoods and subways so we could explore on our own for the rest of the week. The email communication to set up the tour was super responsive and helpful - extremely smooth and easy process. We listed a few things we wanted to see (Tsukiji market, Meiji Shrine and Shibuya crossing) and discussed more details with Yuco our tour guide on the day we met with her. English was great and Yuco was SO friendly, nice and helpful - she took pictures of our family everywhere, talked about all the various things we were seeing as we walked to the various destinations, helped us get Pasmo passes, etc. She met us at our hotel with a clear sign and was excited and so hospitable from the moment we started with her until the very end! It was especially helpful for her to show us how to use the subway since we are NY-ers and love to get around walking/subway - - she told us how the system works and we felt very comfortable and confident getting around via subway/bus by the end of the tour. Having Yuco at Tsukiji market was awesome - she quickly got us to the various delicious food stands so we could try various foods like grilled squid, tea, wagyu, white strawberries, etc - - while it was crowded, it was helpful to have a local like Yuco get us around efficiently. She gave us maps of the various neighborhoods and highlighted all the places we could try on our own as well. All in all, would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this walking tour - - it's definitely the way to see the various neighborhoods of Tokyo. Signs are all pretty easy to understand since there's English posted everywhere and trains make announcements in English as well. LOVED LOVED LOVED seeing Tokyo this way on our first day - - it was because of this tour that our family felt so comfortable getting around Tokyo for the rest of the week and had such a fabulously amazing time!

A5 Wagyu Experience, memorable Temple and Shrine - I had so much fun in my day tour!! My guide was very patient showing me around the city especially the Fish Market. It was a busy area but she patiently showed me the ins and out of it. We even tried the A5 Wagyu Beef! It was sooo delicioso! Our visit to the Buddhist temple and the Shinto Shrine was memorable. She made sure i was enjoying my tour and was always very accommodating to my requests. Thank you! I hope to see you again,

A guide is immense knowledge of Japan and its history - We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide on our first visit to Tokyo than Tak-san. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and practical. On our two day private tour we have seen everything we set out to see, tried some delicious local food as well as got some really practical advice on the best modes of transport, local customs and directions as far as Gifu City. We would really like to thank Tak-san for making our stay in Tokyo so varied and for making sure every one of us saw and did something we each enjoyed individually and as a family. We recommend Tak-san's services without any reservations.

Yuriko Kimura is the BEST! - My husband & I just got back from our Honeymoon and this was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide, Yuriko Kimura, was the best! She provided us with soooooo much information and took us to every significant sightseeing location in Tokyo. Not only did she take us but she also took amazing photos of us so that we would have forever memories. During the tour, Yuriko was able to help us understand the culture of Japan more and become more comfortable with Japan's transit system, all while ensuring that our tour was customized to our interests. We took this tour on our first full day in Japan and I can honestly say our trip was better because of it. We were more confident in our transport from city to city and were able to have one-in-a-lifetime experiences such as my husband trying fresh salmon from the fish market and buying amazing Japanese knives for our new home! If we had it our way we would have had Yuriko give us a tour in every city we visited in Japan!

Japan Wonder Travel - Private 4 Hour Tour of Tokyo - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Tokyo. She gave us information about the history of the place we were going to beforehand, which normally you could only get on a private tour. Our tour guide Naoko was very sweet and kind and friendly! Our tour guide was very helpful, such as showing us the train system! Visiting the Meiji shrine and the Senso-ji temple was beautiful! Our overall experience of a private tour really left us on a high-note and happy to have chosen Japan Wonder Travel!

7-hr Tokyo tour with family of 4 - I’m so thankful we did this tour, I don’t think we could have seen the best of Tokyo without it and our guide Hikari. She’s very knowledgeable, speaks English and she knew the history and answered all our questions. She also helped us take the train. Thank you Hikari!

Japan Wonder Travel - Akihabara tour with Ikuko - My family and I had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Ikuko, who showed us around Akihabara. My teenage son is interested in Pokemon and Ikuko was able to find stores that sold a variety of booster boxes. At the time we visited Tokyo, a lot of stores had strict rules about selling new cards only to children under 15, or limiting the amount of cards you can buy (for example, Pokemon Center in Shibuya limits 5 packs per guest). Ikuko also showed my daughter some K-pop stores as well as cool anime and manga stores that we all enjoyed. There were some specialty stores she took us to that there is no way we would have found on our own. My wife wanted to visit a hedgehog cafe and Ikuko was able to arrange that as well. Having a local guide navigate Akibara is essential if you have never visited this area before. Ikuko is fun to talk to and energetic. Highly recommended!!!
