- Beitou Market - Lunch on own-taste local cuisines
- Beitou Museum - The only remaining all-wood two-story Japanese style building in Taiwan was designated as a historical site by the city government in 1998. The building was used during the Japanese era as lodging for Kamikaze pilots during World War II. The grounds have changed ownership over the years,and is currently managed by the Fu Lin Culture Foundation which completed a renovation of the complex in 2008.
- Pu Chi Temple - Walking up a flight of stone steps you’ll come to Puji Temple. Whether here to worship or just to admire the Japanese architectural mastery, you’ll find a sense of tranquil calm settling over you.
- Beitou Thermal Valley(Hell Valley) - Thermal Valley is one of the sources supplying the area’s hot springs. The sulfuric steam that blankets the valley year-round gives the valley a frightening quality, giving rise to nicknames like “Ghost Lake.” The springs here have the highest temperatures of any in the Datunshan volcano group.
- Plum Garden - The building was constructed in the late 1930s as the summer getaway home of calligrapher Yu Youren. In 2006, the building was listed as a historical site by the Taipei City Government and was opened to the public in 2010. The wooden building mixed both Japanese and Western architectural styles with two floors. The ground floor was constructed as an air raid shelter which is heavily shielded with steel rods and reinforced concrete.

Beitou Public Library, Taipei - An eco-friendly complex with only wood, steel, and other recyclable materials used in its construction. The space is carpeted in green shade, making a day immersed in the glories of the book, a quiet, pleasant gem indeed.
Beitou Hot Spring Museum - Ri - Beitou Hot Spring Museum - Right beside the library, with the Roman-style bathing pool as its distinctive feature. Both Crown Prince Hirohito and Dr. Sun Yat-sen were attracted by its fame and came to visit. After visiting continue up Zhongshan Road and you’ll come to Plum Garden, the former residence of famed calligrapher Yu Youren, now a fine exhibit of the traditional Japanese timber-frame structure.
