Highly appreciated - great experience! - Alex was my tour guide for the tour through the Shilin Night Market. He explained me the various foods and how to eat. It was always my decision if I want to taste something. I’m very glad that I booked this tour. The highlight was the fried ice cream! You must try this! Alex was very well prepared for all situations.

My private tour at the... - My private tour at the Shilin night market was fun and easy with my guide. He recommended all the best local foods to try as explained every question I had and gave details on the history of this night market!! He sat with me and ate alongside me as well! It was like we were old friends!

Delicious and affordable! - It was great! My guide, May Ei, really took my preferences into account as we went around the market. I ate so many delicious foods and tried some new ones too of course. I was stuffed by the time we were done. If you like a food adventure that won’t blow the budget, I highly recommend this experience!

If you’re going to Shinlin, Go with a Pro! - Our guide, May Ei, was excellent. She customized our tour based on our interests and provided so much information not only about the market but her experiences growing up in Taipei. She showed us some outstanding restaurants and food stalls that we would never have found on our own. Shinlin is huge and going with a knowledgeable guide is the only way to handle it. She made sure we got to eat everything we wanted and introduced us to things we would have never thought of. She took us to a beautiful temple and shared so much of her culture with us. When the night came to an end, she personally made sure we got to our Uber safely. She was fantastic!

Great family experience - Our guide Alex was wonderful and took us to the best places in the market. Our whole family, including the kids enjoyed the experience. I recommend choosing the earliest slot especially if traveling with children because the market gets very busy later. Also, don't miss the beautiful temple!

Informative and Highly Recommend - I did the Shilin Night Market Private Tour with May last month. Although this review is a bit late, I have not forgotten how informative and friendly May was and how comfortable she made me feel throughout the entire tour. It was a fun experience and so nice to have had someone guide me through it all as Shilin Night Market is huge and very busy! May brought me to yummy food spots and I really enjoyed the backstories she had about the food and history of Taipei. Thank you so much, May!

Very Fun Night! - May Ei was my tour guide and I had the best time! She was so much fun to go on the tour with! We enjoyed shopping and eating at the night market. She is so easy to talk to and we had the best conversations. She was also super knowledgeable and explained the history and culture about Taiwan. She also picked out delicious food.
