Dawki River - Dawki is just an awesome place in mortheast india .there is lots of details in this places its just like some chinese river in india .the place is awesome it have beautiful river which is very reflective people come from far far away from middle india to visit this place beacuse its sorrounding is so peaceful just like heaven . There are so many resorts around and guess what .we can actually get a close touch with wild nature of meghalaya by staying in tents .people come here enjoy the boating eat the food they indulge so much in the culture and tradition of the region . Its really a heaven but it doesnt stop there here this place have the most waterfalls in all over india .everyone knows waterfall are fun. So next time when you planned to come here dont just hesitate people are too kind and friendly over tourist or outsider they love it .so nothing to worry Carry your stuff and relax here with again 7 seven sister

The highway to Dawki is in shambles and the journey to Dawki was tiresome. - Very average trip poorly organised. The local outfit passed on the trip to another entity who had no knowledge of the trip details as stated in your contract. There was no guide, no snacks and packaged water etc. The driver himself was nice and friendly but was totally unaware of the services to be provided.

Place to go in winters only - I think you should not go to this place during summer or monsoon season cause the river becomes dirty due to rainwater and it’s also a hectic trip to the river so it’s not worth the effort. You should visit it during winter as it’s a dry season and river is also pretty clean that time
