Highlight of Diani beach holiday! - Highlight of our trip to Diani Beach! Omar and his team were absolutely fantastic! 1. Timely pick up and smooth ride from Hotel in Diani to Shimoni 2. Nice boat ride spotting many many beautiful dolphins 3. Great snorkeling with lots of colorful fish and very well preserved coral reefs- much better than we expected 4. Wonderful break on a stunning sandbank- picture perfect! 5. Interesting Local village visit 6. Nice lunch in a local restaurant in Shimoni 7. Insightful visit to the caves in Shimoni 8. Smooth ride back to our hotel We started the day in the rain with overcast conditions, and were worried we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the trip, however got so lucky with the sun coming out right in time for the snorkeling and sandbank visit which made it all the more beautiful. Our guide Omar, our driver Mohammad and the whole boat crew were super sweet, helpful and nice to talk to. They were super light and easy going and made the whole trip from A-Z very enjoyable. This was truly the highlight of our visit to Diani Beach. Highly recommend to book with Safe Adventure Safari!

Amazing day snorkelling! - We had an amazing day with Hussain snorkelling. We had him as our personal guide and he was very knowledgable and passionate about protecting the ocean and the turtles. We saw dolphins on the boat ride to the snorkel destination. My partner hadn’t snorkelled before but Hussain was great at showing him what to do and making him feel comfortabe. We did over an hour snorkelling and we saw some amazing fish. I’ve snorkelled around Europe, Asia and Australasia and this was one of the best locations I’ve been to. Hussain was amazing at pointing things out and finding fish hiding. He even took my GoPro and got some great footage for us. He was so attentive and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The company is a small locally run company and it is great to support this instead of big international company’s. We would 100% recommend the experience to anyone! One of the highlights of our two week Kenya trip.

Great experience, book this tour! - This trip was awesome! Everything was smooth from the driver pick up, transportation to our starting point, the snorkeling itself, lunch and transportation back to our hotel. Omar and Hussein were great guides, making us feel safe and giving us a lot of information about what we were seeing and general information about this part of Kenya. We were lucky with perfect weather, dolphin sightings and many beautiful fish, corrals, octopi, eel, lobsters and even a few turtles!

Great day at Kisite Mpungu Marine National Park - We had a fantastic day with Omar and his team! We went as a family and brought our 1,5 year old daughter. I’d been a bit nervous about that but we felt so safe and Omar and his crew was very attentive, fun and friendly. Kisite Mpungu was a nice diving site. Although many of the corals are bleached, there was an abundance of colurful fish and we also got to see octopusses and sea turtles. From the boat we saw a big group of dolphins. Definetely a recommendation from us!

It's as good as it gets! - A year ago we made the snorkeling trip and kept postponing to write a review. But since we still remember this trip fondly, we would like to make up for it. We were picked up at the hotel at the appointed time and driven to Shimoni. Once there, we landed on the wrong boat, a raunchy dow... But our guide quickly found us on the right boat, there was already much more space here. Before we left, the ticket for Marine National Park was bought and on the way there one of the two guides told us all kinds of things about the country and people. Some of the snorkeling equipment we had ourselves, but there is also everything necessary on board. We enjoyed the first snorkel stop to the fullest, the underwater world there is fantastic and time flew by (we were in the water for over an hour). After a short break on a sandbank we went snorkeling for the second time and were no less enthusiastic. The captain has always stayed close to us with his boat and prepared snacks for us and the guides have shown themselves in the best way helpful and respectful of nature. We then had the choice of whether to eat on Wasini Island or on the mainland and chose the food in Shimoni village because it was described to us as less touristy. We stayed in a simple local restaurant and received typical dishes. And it couldn't have been better, this food was an absolute highlight! After that we were still in the slave caves, which was quite distressing. There was a German-speaking guide who showed us a lot and told us even more. During the subsequent walk in the village I would have liked to have long clothes with me, short shorts did not seem appropriate here. Again, the guide told us all kinds of things about life in the village and the people there and everyone was very friendly to us without exception. At the end of the walk we went back to the Marine Center, where we were picked up by our driver a little later. In short: it would be a fantastic day with great, warm guides who have allowed us to help shape the day, an accomplished captain, perfect organization, great food and impressive insights into an incredible underwater world. What would we do differently? Take our snorkeling shirts! Despite SPF 50, we had the sunburn of our lives... 1000 thanks to Safe adventures Safaris and continue to wish you all the best!!!

Marvelous sealife, Local heart - The local team that led this tour was wonderful. The main guide Omar was very friendly and knowledgeable, clearly cares about the ocean and local people. Ali was our dolphin spotter and also shared his village with us, giving us an inside look at local life. They pulled out all the stops for us to see dolphins, taking us almost all the way to Tanzania! We saw a school of them, including a baby! It was magical. We then returned to the marine park, which was beautiful and filled with absolutely stunning fish and corals. My mask kept leaking, but Omar was very helpful to make sure all my equipment worked and I was comfortable. For unsure swimmers, I would recommend wearing a lifevest, as we only had two floating rings and this was not enough for multiple people to rest on. We ended with a village visit on Wasini island, followed by local food for lunch. A great day with a great team
