Wonderful tour - Jorge was our guide and he was incredible! This was actually my second tour with him. This tour is great to explore the Mount Fuji area if you don’t have a car or want to deal with public transportation.

Great tour and great guide, thanks again ‘J’! - Pick-up arrangements worked well, tour content covered the key sites and some interesting extra locations. Driver was excellent and our guide ‘J’ was very attentive to guests’ needs and had excellent English, so his context talks about each forthcoming site were really helpful.

Mt. Fuji/Lake Kawaguchi an incredible tour. - We took the Scenic Spots of My Fuji & Lake Kawaguchi 1-Day Bus Tour, on Friday, 3/21/2024. The meeting place was not too difficult to locate. The meeting place is a very popular spot for multiple, different, bus tours to meet. Because of this, it was pretty disorganized as we had to move between several different vendors to find out bus tours. Viator should provide some distinguishing feature to make this easier. After finally finding our tour group, we boarded the bus and soon departed. Our tour guide, Yuu Nana, was exceptional. I have a hearing disability and was able to easily hear and understand her throughout the tour. You was great at explaining art we would see at each stop of the tour. I really appreciated that she was clear about the need for everyone to return to the bus on time at each stop. This was important because the tour covers a lot of territory among the several stops. Plenty of time was available for everyone to tour at each planned stop. Really, the time allotted was perfect. Our tour path did not follow the "what to expect" route as laid out on the Viator tour page. The deviation was perfect considering the number of buses that departed to go the Kawaguchiko area, ensuring that 6-7 buses didn't pull up to the same stop at the same time. Brilliant. The 1.5 hour bus trip, from Tokyo to the Kawaguchiko area, was very comfortable and went very quickly. Our first stop was Oishi Park. Oishi Park craft fair was great and situated right on the lake with great views and plenty to see and do. Our next stop was lunch. My wife and I ordered the traditional Hoto Noodles and were not disappointed. Our tour proceeded to Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba. It was wonderful see a traditional village and the thatch roofed houses were amazing. Most of the houses are available to enter and the view of the opposite side of Mt Fuji was great. Our last stop was Chureito Pagoda. Prepare yourself for the climb to the top and you won't be disappointed if the day and sky is clear. The view from behind the Pagoda looking towards Mt. Fuji was incredible and worth the effort. Don't panic about climbing the step path as a winding path to the top is available. Don't panic as you have plenty of time to get to the top take your photos and return to the bus. A great tour. Thank you, Yuu and Viator for the experience of a lifetime. We enjoyed it!
