Mt. Fuji 5th Station - Arrive at Yoshida Route 5th Station around 11:00 AM
Acclimate to the altitude by staying here for an hour.
Mt. Fuji 5th Station - Begin the climb from the 5th Station of Yoshida Entrance around 12:00 PM.
・A team consisting of a mountain guide and an English-speaking tour conductor will assist you during the climb. Aim to reach the original 8th Station.
・Follow the guide’s pace. Walk on the side closest to the mountain, and be cautious of rockslides or falling hazards.
・Three key points:
- Stay hydrated.
- Walk slowly.

Breathe deeply.
Those who are unsure of their stamina should stay close to the guide. When resting, be considerate of others walking behind and allow them to pass.
Mt. Fuji Station - Arrive at the mountain hut at the original 8th station, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Mountain Hut - TOP OF Mt. FUJI! - Yoshida Entrance of 5th Station-Shinjuku
Mt. Fuji Station - Depart from the mountain hut and start the climb around 4:00 AM.
Arrive at the 9th station and watch the sunrise at 5:00 AM.
Climb to the summit
(You will reach the summit after sunrise.)
●Participants can leave their belongings at the hut and proceed to the peak with light equipment.
Young children, the elderly, or those unsure of their stamina can view the sunrise from the hut without climbing to the top.
Rest adequately until assembly time and prepare to climb to the peak (ensure you have warm clothing, a headlamp, and water).
*A JPY300 fee is charged for toilet use at the peak, so be sure to use the facilities before climbing.
Mount Fuji - Arrive at the top of Mt. Fuji around 6:00 AM

●Enjoy a lap around the crater at the top of Mt. Fuji and a 360-degree panoramic view from Japan’s highest point. Try it if you are confident in your stamina!
Mt. Fuji Station - Return to the mountain hut and have breakfast around 7:00 AM
Mt. Fuji Station - Depart from the mountain hut and begin the descent around 8:00 AM
・Pack your belongings and start descending to the 5th Station.
Descending is easier than ascending, but walking sticks are recommended to ease knee strain.
Ensure you have more than 500 ml of water for the descent.
*Avoid resting for too long to prevent heatstroke, dehydration, and exhaustion.
Mt. Fuji 5th Station - Arrive at the Yoshida entrance of the 5th Station around 11:00 AM

Suitable for all skill levels, this tour guarantees a safe and fulfilling climb with English-speaking guides, accommodation in a mountain hut, and awe-inspiring vistas. Round-trip transport from Tokyo and two meals are provided for a hassle-free journey.
Marvel at the breathtaking scenery, from the sea of clouds at the 7th station to the sparkling night views at the 8th. Ascend at a comfortable pace with expert guidance, regular breaks, and support for novice climbers. Essential gear rental is available, including climbing boots, backpacks, trekking poles, and headlamps. Participants will also receive a WILLER Montbell helmet and rain gear.
A certified guide and an English-speaking tour conductor will be with you throughout. Travel insurance is included for international guests. Spend the night at Tomoekan Mountain Hut (8th station) with dinner and breakfast provided. Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
- This tour will depart regardless of weather or traffic conditions, unless you are notified otherwise by the local operator. Viator and your local tour operator will not be responsible for itinerary changes due to unforeseen circumstances
- As it is stipulated by the law of Japan, please wear your seat belt on the tour bus.
- Please be noted that you cannot change the scheduled return location after the tour.
- In case of traffic congestion or any other uncontrollable reasons, may lead to changes on tour schedule or time shorten in each sightseeing spots, please be noted in advance.
- Tour is scheduled as listed hour, however may subject to change due to traffic condition.
- Be sure to come to the meeting place on time. As well as when returning from toilet breaks. The bus will depart as scheduled regardless of all late comers. There will be no refund nor can we offer assistance for alternative methods of transportation in case you missed the bus due to being late.
- Refund for all possible cancellation will be calculated in Japanese Yen. Participants may not exactly receive the amount paid in full due to rate variation.
- All tours will be operated regardless of visibility of Mt.Fuji. And Mt.Fuji may not be visible due to weather conditions. This will not qualify as a reason for refund.
- All times posted are rough estimation only. Time varies on weather and traffic conditions, stamina of tour participants and so on. Please kindly be noted in advance.
- Specific seats cannot be requested.
- The tour bus only has limited space for participants to store their rucksacks and other hand-carry luggage. Therefore please do not bring along big luggage or suitcases so there are no space for storage on the bus. Please kindly leave them at your hotel.
- Participants are not allowed to get off the bus at other places where are not designated as arrival places of the tour.
- Once you complete your reservation, your request will be submitted, and we will respond within a few days.
- Children aged 6 and above who can communicate in English are welcome to join. The tour fee is the same for both adults and children.
- You will stay at Tomoekan 8th Station (altitude: 3,400m), approximately 1.5 hours from the summit. Facilities include free smartphone charging, Wi-Fi, eco-friendly flush toilets with heated seats (200 yen tip required), and personal storage shelves.
- Rooms are shared, but male and female guests will not sleep next to each other. Even within the same booking, shared rooms may be separated. Private rooms (for 2 people) are available in limited numbers, but single participants cannot apply.
- Private rooms are limited. If they are fully booked, we will notify you.
- Extra food, drinks, earplugs, and raincoats are available for purchase at the hut.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited in the accommodation. To prevent altitude sickness, we advise against drinking alcohol during the climb.
