Exceptional tour guide - We had the pleasure of tour guide, Lax. He was very friendly and helpful. Took us to amazing places to eat and have Sake. He introduced us to restaurants that would not be known to many tourists. Highly recommend this tour as a first time tourist to Shinjuku.

Fantastic night out in the bars & restaurants of Shinjuku! - This tour is a fantastic opportunity to get to know the real Shinjuku. Our guide Ken was friendly, funny & knowledgeable. We made & ate okonomiyaki in 1 restaurant, toriyaki in another, drank 4 different sakes in a local bar, had our photos taken in a purikura & wandered the backstreets of Omoide Yokocho & Golden Gai. If you want to sample the real Tokyo but are unsure because you are a tourist then book this experience. You will love it!

A+ Tour with teenager - Ken was an excellent tour guide taking myself and my teenage son to 3 different food outlets and gaming arcade. He personalised the tour and answered a lot of our questions. I’d highly recommend when in Tokyo.

A must do when traveling to a new country - 8/28/24 We had a really great, easy going experience on this tour. Ikumis and Lax, our tour guides, walked us through Izakaya (to our surprise was actually quite tasty)! We are pescatarian and it was tailored to meet our preferences. Sake tasting at the last venue helped us determine if we like and what style of Sake we preferred (cold & sparkling). They both spoke enough English to navigate and converse with us. Tours are always a good activity to help learn the culture and ask questions. To our surprise we ran into Ikumis and Lax at their daytime job (restaurant in Asakusa) and got to enjoy a beer at their establishment. Overall we learned the Japanese residents to be SO friendly and very honored when you select their venue - the entire work staff at any restaurant would all give good byes and wave to us as we exited. They are very kind and were happy to see some restaurants (thankfully) offered English menus.

Worth it!!! - An amazing night doing a food tour and sake flights with the locals! Arigato gozaimasu Atsu and Fuji!

An insider view to the flavors of Shinjuku - Our guide, Ken, was knowledgeable, warm, and a lot of fun. He was great at imparting knowledge of the places we visited and the foods we shared. At the same time he was also a great listener and by the end of the evening, a new friend. Highly recommend this fun jaunt into the flavors and sights of Shinjuku.

Fun night out in Shinjuku! - Lax shared a super friendly vibe with our college aged kids, and we fulfilled our Japanese food cravings (okonomiyaki, monjayaki, yakitori and snacks) at hand-picked eateries. We also got a taste of the photo booth and arcade games. He guided us weaving through the vast vibrant area of Shinjuku where we would otherwise have gotten lost.
