Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable guides who brings people to interesting places and provide shooting guidance - Lukasz, Charles and Lee were all AMAZING! They are genuinely very friendly people and are all knowledgeable about the places we shot at. Not only did they bring me to unfamiliar nice places I otherwise wouldn’t have known, they also suggested shooting angles and composition. My personal photo series on Tokyo was greatly enhanced by their guidance. I will sign up for more sessions in my next trip to Japan!

Great photo tour, highly recomend! - As someone with no prior experience in street photography this was one of the best thing I did in Tokyo. Charles was a great guide taking us around Shinjuku and Shibuya and helping us make the most of the light and various compositions. Got some good photos and had a fun time. I will definitely do more tours with eyexplore on my next trip to Japan.

Well worth it! - First time visiting Tokyo and what better way to break in the trip than taking a workshop. Being able to know where to go and what you can do was a great start for a street photography vacation. Great insight and instruction knowing I may have never found these places on my own and what to look for. Highly recommend and you will get images you’ll be proud of for sure.

Serious street photogs go no further - I’ve followed Lukasz on Eyexplore’s Youtube channel for some time and was really looking forward to walking the Shibuya area with a skiled photographer. Lukasz is super familiar with the hidden haunts and has explored many photographic techniques to bring out the uniqueness of this urban environment at night. My preference was to let Lukasz lead us as conditions and situations indicated great opportunities and I’m glad I did. The tour was a feast of lights, architecture and cool urban vibe. It was the best possible use of my time. In addition I learned some new camera setup and shot setup techniques that were very enjoyable and expanded my options for approaching night time scenes.

Tokyo at night...the illuminated" experience. - Great time strolling the city at night and taking photos. Of the four of us, I was the only photographer with a "pro" camera. The rest just enjoyed the tour and used their phones. However, with respect to the camera settings, the guide was spot on with his adjustments and settings. It certainly brought out the feel of Tokyo for a newbie like me. Better yet, as a primary landscape guy, I have found some new skills to use in cities.

Great opportunity to grab shots from Tokyo nightlife. - I’m not a photographer, but tagged along with a relative to experience Tokyo in an awesome way. They take you to both main thoroughfares and back alleys to see the nightlife and special picturesque areas you’d probably never see otherwise. The guide(s) are English speaking and in fact westerners. They have great insight into the city and culture. A lot of walking but worth it! Really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone.

Exceptional experience for anyone (photographer or not!) to document their Tokyo trip. - You do not need any photography experience to enjoy this tour, and you will still come away with exceptional pictures and a new perspective on documenting your trip. The guide was fantastic—knowledgeable about both cameras and the local area. He was friendly and easy to talk to. You do not need a DSLR; everything is navigable with a point-and-shoot or phone camera. The photos attached to this review were taken with an iPhone 13Pro.

Great time with Charles and Lukasz! - This is my second (and third) trip over to Japan, and I have spent a number of nights out shooting with Lukasz and Charles. Both are great photographers, and have great insight into where to go and what to shoot in Tokyo. I had a great time, learned a lot, and came away with some really great shots! If you're a photographer, do yourself a favor and sign up with the guys from EYExplore.
