Quest to View Mt. Fuji - I am so impressed with the prompt and professional manner our private tour of Shimizu was handled by the tour manager Hirokane-san and our guide Hiroko-san. Mr. Hirokane messaged me as soon as I booked the tour on Trip Advisor. He provided detailed information on our tour stops, pics of exactly where we would meet and info. on our guide. During the tour our guide Hiroko; shared with us interesting history, folklore and details about current conditions of the area. With Hiroko’s knowledge; we were able to really immerse ourselves in the culture of the area. Her mastery of the English language is amazing!
Added bonus is that we were able to view the magnificent but very elusive Mt. Fuji at the end of day! We heard that it’s the 1st time in many years that there was no snowfall in October on the top of Mt. Fuji.

Great guided tour with Miyuki - Great guide!! Friendly. Good English. Great sights!! Miyuki took great pictures of us at each destination, and shared them all with us. No charge!! She helped with ordering fun ice cream flavors (saki, milk tea) cones and truly made our time in Shimizou fun and interesting! Highly recommend!!!

Best tour company I have used to date. - We had a great time on our private tour! From start to finish, the communication was seamless. Hirokane made sure to let us know where his team would be, once we stepped off the cruise ship. He even sent pictures so we knew what to look out for. Miguki was an incredible guide. She was so kind and thorough at every place we visited. It was a cloudy day so we only saw a small part of Mount Fuji, but the views were still great. We loved the Green Tea Farm, Pine Grove Beach, and the shrine was really cool (took a gondola ride to get to it, which was neat!). Miguki also had great suggestions on what to do with our remaining time in town. She even got out at the end of the tour to show us where to find some good sushi, the sushi museum, and how to catch a taxi (we weren’t ready to go back to the cruise ship and we appreciated they were willing to drop us off somewhere so we could keep exploring).
Our driver was also wonderful (Mr. Uchida). The gondola ride to the shrine was a long wait, so he offered to take us down to the beach and then bring us back when the lines died down. He certainly did not have to do this, but it was greatly appreciated!!! He could also tell we were a bit nervous about navigating a taxi back to the cruise ship (they do not have uber or the go taxi app). I am sure we could have figured it out (Miguki showed us exactly what to do) but as we were walking out of the shopping mall to call a taxi, Mr. Uchida was there waiting for us and offered to take us back to the ship!!! Talk about amazing customer service - we couldn’t believe it.
I would highly recommend this tour. Probably the best company we have used to date.

Great private tour! - This was a great private tour! Our guide, Yoko, and the driver, Mr. Uchida, were very friendly and helpful. They were waiting for us right near our ship. They gave us so much information about the area and what we were seeing. The temple visit was great, and the tea farm and room lovely. I highly recommend this private tour to everyone visiting Shimizu.

Great tour with so much to see. - During a cruise stop in Shimizu, I arranged a tour and met our guide, Yumiki, at the cruise terminal for a fantastic day. We visited several unforgettable places. Yumiki provided an outstanding tour, showcasing a variety of memorable sites. The standout experience was the Kunozan Toshotu Shrine. Yumiki was an extraordinarily knowledgeable and attentive guide who catered to our interests. We plan to return to Japan next October and look forward to booking another tour with this company, hopefully with Yumiki as our guide again.

Wonderful Shimuzu and Miyuki - Miyuki our tour guide was so knowledgeable, considerate and thoughtful. She cared for us and was asking if we were ok because of the steep stairs going up the shrine. The places we went to were the highlights including the view from observatory. Sipping high quality tea was also an experience. She was thoughtful as she gave us each a pack of different snacks
