Must see sights from Shimizu Port - We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Every stop was absolutely beautiful. Our guide Nobuki was so knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. We appreciate her good energy and keeping us entertained. Our driver was also excellent and accommodating. And thanks to Hirokane for his clear instructions to make the tour go smoothly!

Fabulous Tour - We were lucky enough to have Hiroko as our guide for the day - she was the best we have ever had. Our tour included some gorgeous scenic spots as well as a Shrine. Hiroko spoke perfect English, so we learnt a lot, no questions too difficult. Our driver was lovely as well, and moved us around efficiently and safely, opened doors, and provided a foot stool for ease of access into the van. Private tour - only way to go 10 / 10

Excellent tour of Mt. Fuji ! - Michiko was a wonderful tour guide. We loved seeing Mt Fuji and the waterfalls nearby. Michiko taught us a lot and she also took us for a great lunch. I would highly recommend!

Shimizu port - Mt Fuji - Our guide Nobuko and driver Takahashi were wonderful. We had perfect weather after nearly not getting into port. We were 30 minutes late so they even extended time without charge. We got to see the waterfalls, view of Mount Fuji from. Lake and Mt. Fuji shrine. Fabulous day❣️

Rain or shine, have a great time! - Our trip was so informative. Hiroko was so engaging and pleasant to be with for the day. Even though we had a rainy day and Mount Fuji was clouded most of the day, the trip was well worth it. The places we went to are beautiful in the rain as well as the sunshine. Hiroko rounded out the gorgeous scenery with her wealth of information, and she made it fun as well. We really enjoyed our day with this tour company.

Lovely area with lakeside walk - Fabulous place. Unable to see the majesty of Fuji, but the walk around the lake is wonderful. An easy walk. With lots of beauty. Well worth the visit

Terrific Day with a Terrific Guide! - We booked this tour for four people because we wanted to see sights without being shuttled on and off a tour bus with a crowd of people. We chose well! Our guide, Miyuki, met us at Shimizu Marine Terminal where our cruise docked. We drove to the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine where Miyuki showed us the purification ritual, shared the significance of different parts of the Shrine area, and helped us find some cool photo opps. We followed the Shrine with a break in a nearby courtyard with tasty local snacks and drinks, then off to Shiraito Falls. We had some nice views of Mt. Fuji and the two waterfalls were beautiful. Our last stop was Lake Tanuki. We had a few clouds, but still some visibility of Mt. Fuji. On a great day, the views here would be fantastic. The park surrounding the lake is spacious and was full of campers the day we were there. There was nothing resembling a crowd anywhere and we had a great time strolling, taking in the natural beauty and getting to see some normal Japanese life. On the drive back to port, Miyuki talked about Japanese history and culture, taught us origami and answered our random tourist questions. She was excellent every step of the way, from coordinating itinerary changes on the fly to giving us fundamental information about each stop we made. Great day and highly recommend this excursion!

Mount Fuiji was kind! - I booked a private tour with Local Travel Partners back in May for our upcoming November visit. I had the pleasure to communicate with Hirokane throughout the porcess. The four of us had an English speaking driver and his car. Although, he was quiet, neverthless he was quite knowledgeable. As promised, both the driver and Hirokane met us at the port (we were a tad early) and away we went. On the way to see Lake Ashi and the waterfalls, the skies were just starting to clear. At the first viewing point for Mt. Fuji, it was cloudy and we can only make out the top of the mt. As the day progressed, Mt. Fuji was kind to us and revealed herself fully, to the clicking of cameras! It was great that we were able to view this spectucular sight from multiple vantage points that were not overrunned by tourists. He took us to the right places. Japan tour comanies are hard to find, and this one is the one to go with

Wonderful day tour in Shimizu with Local Travel Partners - My husband and I were making a cruise around Japan and like private or small groups for visiting.As everyone goes to visit Hakone and the hot springs we preferred to watch Mt Fuji from another angle and much less crowded. Through Local Travel Partners we hired an English speaking driver and his car. Via email I communicated with Hirokane Ishikaki, who was always very quick to answer ( before our trip, during and even afterwards), is kind, very professional and efficient. He did is utmost best to understand and meet our needs while being one day in Shimizu. Our driver drove us around in a very safe and gentleman manner. We were not disappointed to book this tour. You can accommodate and decide what to visit.We chose Lake Ashi and the Waterfalls and were not disappointed as they are breathtaking and much less crowded than the other places. Hirokane was there to greet us at the cruise terminal and then introduced us to our driver, who was really nice.We were super lucky with the weather and got to see Mt Fuji completely which is not often. We had a marvelous day and really recommend that you book with Local Travel Partners.

An enjoyable day - Miyuki looked after us very well - even suggesting a change in the order of our itinerary to allow Mount Fuji to finally appear from behind the clouds at Lake Tanuki A very worthwhile tour and highly recommended
