Theth National Park - The drive toward Thethi goes through the fields of sage and lavender in the area over Koplik. After the fields the road goes up to 1750 mt altitude at the Qafe e Thores peak, where you can stop for a coffe break and enjoy the view of the hole peaks around Shala valley. After a few kilometers you will meet Edit Durham lapidary, the English anthropologist, who was one of the first foreign tourist from the 19 century.

This expedition is a brainchild of the locals of Thethi, who aim not just to guide you, but to immerse you in their distinctive way of life in this untouched, wilderness of the Albanian alp, located within Thethi National Park. The area remains wild and pristine, as stated by previous visitors and the final 15 km of the access road is still gravel, adding a sense of adventure and challenge to your journey to Theth. Over the span of three days, you will have the chance to marvel at the main attractions of Thethi, such as the waterfall and canyon, the blue eye and stone groves, the church and the lock in tower. Stay over in traditional guesthouses known as ‘kulla’, dine on local homemade and organic cuisine, and personally experience the warm hospitality of Albania. For the avid hikers, there’s also the opportunity to modify hiking routes, allowing you to swap out one destination for another based on your preference.
