AMAZING THETH - Henri was an amazing tour guide, he was very interactive & showed us around great! He also made us feel really safe as the roads there aren’t the greatest. Would recommend booking this excursion. Definitely worth seeing theth in Albania!!

Beautiful day & scenic ride - Landscapes were out of this world in October. Rain and clouds didn’t break our trip, but I can imagine we would not enjoy it that much if we had heavy rain as the hike is rocky and steep (no complain, worth it!) Our driver Noli was a very good driver and fun to hang out with during the day. The lunch was very good. We had vegetable omelette, chicken and veal meat, vegetable salad, chips, olives with yogurt and bread. All delicious. We felt a bit rushed during the hike, but we understood it was to squeeze all that is planned into our itinerary. The church of Teth is just a short photo stop, we thought there is more to see, bit our bad. Overall, a great day!!

Beautiful tour! - Just got back from one of the best days in Albania. This tour is spectacular. Don’t hesitate. We were guided by Nolan. He was amazing. A great driver and knowledgeable about the area. He was also fun and kind. The lunch was delicious.

Exceptional tour - This was an incredible tour. We had a little bit of a rocky start time due to unforeseen circumstances, but this was insignificant by the end of the day. Our tour guide Henri was the most thoughtful, attentive and knowledgeable guide I have ever had. He got to know everyone on the bus and was constantly checking in to see that we were all comfortable. We learnt so much about Albanian history and culture, whilst taking in truly breathtaking landscapes. We enjoyed the scenic stop off points and most of all, the hike up the mountains and the clear blue waters. The blue eye is as beautiful as the pictures. Henri then took us around Theth village which was a picturesque and interesting site. It was great to be able to fit some of Albania’s hidden gems into one day. Thank you Henri for such a great experience.

Day in the Albanian Alps - This was such a nice tour. It's a really long day but you get to spend a day in the Albanian Alps and hike to the blue eye which is so special. We also visited the Theth village and had a nice lunch. I really enjoyed the trip and could see how much the effort the team put into showing everyone a good time. Highly recommended.

Amazing tour! The... - Amazing tour! The Albanian Alps and Theth Village Day Tour was well-organized and absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured a smooth experience from start to finish. The scenery was stunning, and the hike was enjoyable, not too difficult. Lunch was ok, and the overall experience great. Highly recommend!

Fabulous day in the mountains with Henri! - This trip was amazing. As my friends and I discussed our most favorite part of our Albania trip, the day we spent with Henri in the Balkan Alps was a unanimous highlight. First, Henri mad the trip for us. He was easy to talk to, willingly shared interesting information and history about this area of Albania, and navigated us skillfully up and down hairpin turns as he drove us in and out of Theth. Our group hiked at different rates and Henri stayed with the slower members of our group and patiently helped when needed. He knew when to lead and guide and also when to get out of our way so we could create our own experience. The scenery on this trip can't be beat. We visited the Northern Blue Eye first with Henri and the Southern Blue Eye on our own. The Northern Blue Eye in the mountains was by far the more spectacular. This is a long day with lots of time in the van, but the ride is interesting and in many places very scenic. It's a great way to spend a day of your vacation. You won't be sorry. And if Henri is your guide, you are very lucky!

A long day but a good day - Pick ups were smooth - I was well communicated with via whatsapp leading up to collection. Prepare for a long day (14hrs total). After 1.5hr a short stop. Opportunities to stop for photos at viewpoints as you go through the Alps. The hike was great - there is a 15min uphill section, and it is on loose rocks which can be slippery. The Blue Eye was stunning, for sure go up over the suspension bridge. Lunch after the walk at the restaurant was fine, there was plenty of food. The visit to Theti was short and just looking at the church and the reconciliation tower. Overall a great trip and beautiful day in the alps - thanks Henri

Not well organized for the high price - The communication from the company was excellent. The driver and the guide were very pleasant to communicate with. I had great time chatting with them. However, the trip was below expectations for the (very high) price we paid. First of all, we were picked by a rather small and dirty car, no air-conditioning. We were 5 together with the driver, hence tight and not so comfortable for such a long trip. The ride itself was unpleasant due to the general driving culture in the country and the rather aggressive driving skills of our driver, who also spent significant time on his phone chatting with camera, reading, writing messages while driving through a very curvy, steep road. No info/facts about the places we visited were provided, neither about how the day will be spent. Half way we met with the guide who left with other people from a different city. The hike itself was nice, however it states that its accessible with strollers but that is not true, the hike is not as easy as it might sound. The lunch was mediocre and the meat was very dry. We did not visit Theth village, only the church. All in all, I definitely don't recommend the trip as the price is way too high for what is offered (I would definitely not price it at 150 dollars, rather 70 dollars max compared to what we paid for much better organized trips in Albania) and I'm not sure it's worth spending so much time on the road to see the blue eye which is just a small average lake.
